After breakfast, Lemiel offered to walk Davi to the upper deck, where they could have a better view of the ocean. Sienna followed the two, keeping a small distance. Now that people knew her as the maid of Lemiel's son, she had to watch her every move when outdoors. She knew that such news about an elite vampire would spread like wildfire.
The upper deck was significantly colder due to the ocean breeze, but Sienna had donned a warm coat to shield herself from the chill. She stood nearby as Davi approached the ship's bow, his inky hair dancing in the wind.
Lemiel joined his son. "The view of the ocean is calming, isn't it, little man?"
Davi nodded enthusiastically, his eyes fixed on the majestic sea before him. "It is. Back in our house, there is a lighthouse atop the hill. I love watching the sea and the sunset there. Mama is always scared that I might fall off the cliff, though."
