Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

With a start of lightning speed, they slashed through the endless amount of creatures. As well as finding their general. Jun started thinking, was the general important to take out first before the creatures?

Up and down the tall village buildings, obliterating every creature they see. It was such a close match by the sights of an average human yet the amount wouldn't be easy to count because of their overwhelming speed. They did look slightly tired as they go on.

Using his claymore to simply hit the ground with his strength, only that was needed to make the creatures fly away. It was clear to see that it wasn't natural. No human could possibly possess that kind of strength, unless he really is a superhuman.

"Oh? It's you."

Yhur's specialty was his spear that he had been training with for years. The accuracy of even throwing it was phenomenal, as if he was the spear itself.

But there was also some kind of power that enhanced his attacks. An aura unfamiliar to those who are not used to it. His ability itself could not be as powerful without that strange power.

His eyes were also quite special. Even when wearing glasses, he was able to spot anything from a specific far distance. As if his eyes were a tracking device. In an open area, he is able to spot which is which. Either an average creature or their general.

And he always has his first target every battle, most importantly the general. Though common in large areas that are public and general to the commoners, they are one of the biggest struggle to be found first. They were simply annoying, but the most powerful from the whole pack. And there he spots one.

Grabbing his spear and jumped to their air, and there again was the mysterious power that appeared out of nowhere.

For what it seems that he just pierced the general's head in a flash, it wasn't an average general. It was able to block Yhur's attack with it's giant blade. Their eyes took contact and started observing one and another.

Yhur ran towards the general and attacked the parts small enough for him to fit. It was simply for the general not to be able to dodge, not attack Yhur. But that alone was not enough to bring it down as it followed and slashed it's blade just a hair breadth away from Yhur's neck.

But he was able to dodge it thanks to his past experiences and continued their battle. By using his spear to stab the ground and re-balance his body.

Yet he stood still, confusing everyone watching and the general itself. Holding his spear and stabbing it on the ground once more in front of him. Mumbling some words that couldn't be heard by anyone that isn't closer.

Slowly and slowly, some sort of energy appeared out of nowhere, pressuring the general's body.

It may not seem logical, but stars that were outshines by the sun started to appear as the sky gets darker. As if time went faster to night time. His bland spear adapted to this strange phenomenon and as well released unknown energy similarly.

As if instantly, the general was diced to pieces on the ground. A second haven't even passed, not even one quick blink happened. The general's body being split in half, decorated with sparkling night sky stars around it's body. To simply beautify the after results.

From what his face previously show clearness to now be slightly covered with droplets of sweat.

Huffing and puffing his chest out and suddenly raised his head, no longer looking at the general's body melting away. He started looking around panickingly as if there was something unusual. At this point, what is usual and what is not?

Spitting Mac he rushed and grabbed his arm, "We have to go."

Mac, not refusing, he followed Yhur to wherever he was going. Yhur must have not noticed Jun walking behind Mac the whole entire time.

Hurriedly going inside the forest, Mac was still confused. "Where are we going? There's still some impurities in the village." Yhur answered without stopping his fast walking, "They can be defeated with a single weak hit now that the general is gone." Somehow having a serious face despite defeating the general.

His sweating won't stop and his behavior was only getting more suspicious. A story that was never told to Mac perhaps? Or was it truly something serious?

"Your body is exhausted, we can't move any further unless you calm down." Clearly worried, yet Yhur still refused. "We need to get back fast or else something bad would happen."

"What about our meeting with that bo-" "TELL HIM TO WAIT LONGER." Mac was stunned, as if he'd never seen Yhur get this angry. Of course he was worried about what was going on but he needs to know what it was as well. Yhur was starting to regain his energy, very slowly. He tried to continue his walking until he sensed something. Yhur suddenly turned back and shot his spear in a very quickly speed, to nothing but spaced. That was what Mac thought until the spear suddenly fell after hitting something invisible.

Something, no, someone was watching them. And coincidentally, it was whoever stopped Yhur's attack.
