In a space where books were everywhere. You could say that it's as if every information about space and astronomy all exists in this place. Books, pictures to even items such as a high quality telescope. But even the whole place reminds you of the galaxy so what was the reason?
A large circle table was placed in the middle of the room. It was large enough to fit at least 10 people. It wasn't a messy room nor it is tidy so a couple of books and it's scraps could still be found on the table.
"So uh... Why me?"
"Why not?"
"Stop sulking." Mac pinches Yhur's cheek. Fixing his posture, he took place in explaining instead of Yhur.
In the world of theirs and Jun's, there's a door that seperates them. While Jun's world lives in peace minding their own business on life, the other world participated in living in a monster filled society. Which increases their strength because of their ownership of powers.
Out of one hundred thousand people on Jun's world, or as they call Letra, only one could simply pass the door. Making them perhaps a chosen one?
Out of these people, those who possess an advantage could go in as they pleas-
"Sorry for interrupting your tale, but what exactly is an advantage?" Jun interrupted the story.
Mac apologised, "Ah right, you've been asking that since our first encounte-"
"Remember what happened and what you did in the campus?" Yhur interrupted Mac, leaving him in disbelief. Jun could only nod his head.
Yhur crossed both his hands and legs, "An advantage is a power that were made by the Gods. They entrust those powers to certain people just like the three of us, so that these powers could not fall into the hands of the wrong. These powers were given to us just like an adavantage for our lifestyle compared to the other commoners who did not achieve a certain effort. "
"Yeah, that." Mac agreed
Looking at his hands, a power that was given to him. Yet he still doesn't know what that power is truly.
What could he actually do? The only hint was the incident in his campus. Could he make things come to life? There's a big chance that might be what his advantage could be. And then it hits him.... How exactly was he supposed to go through the door if it did not let him pass previously?
"Uhm, did you say that whoever possesses an advantage gets to get through the door as they please?"
Mac's sad expression after Yhur interrupted him turned to his usual state and nodded towards Jun.
"Then.." Jun brushed back his hair, "How do I go back?-"
"You don't." Interrupting people as he pleases, Yhur suddenly said those two words.
"Huh"
"Huh"
Jun's baffled expression was stuck on his face. Luckily Mac shut Yhur's mouth to calm Jun down, "Don't worry about him, yes you could go back!" Which quickly made Jun calm down. Yhur could only smirk looking at Jun's expression saying that it was only a joke.
It shows how expressive the art student could be despite the hair covering his eyesight. Which makes him wonder why bother wearing glasses if you're not going to cut your bangs.
That was only his inner thought, nothing was said loudly.
Jun asked in a slight desperate tone on how he could leave. There wasn't exactly anything to do in his usual time, except for his close friend that often checks up on him because Jun was rather not too social in the public. Even if it wasn't too obvious.
"Except, it would take you a week to actually pass the door again." Mac explained more clearly than Yhur.
"A week?"
"A week."
They stayed quiet again.
"You're joking?"
"I'm not joking."
Quiet once again.
He has to be stuck in a world he doesn't belong in and has no knowledge about for the next one week. With a stressful amount of assignments still ongoing and a deadline of just a couple weeks. Small projects do not mean small amounts of them.
Jun's body seemed lifeless as his body suddenly leaned back with an even worse posture. Questioning himself how he's even going to finish the assignments let alone even attending class.
Even though they only knew each other for a small amount of time, Mac kept forgetting that Jun was still a university student. Despite knowing that the incident of Jun just attaining his advantage happened just in the university. Looking at Jun, Mac started getting even more concerned at what Jun's concerned with.
They couldn't enter and leave the door as they like for newcomers. So it's not rare for these kinds of encounters.
Mac, once again, was trying to calm Jun down, "It's fine it's fine! We could let you stay with us for a while to do your assignments until you could go back!"
"BUT WHAT ABOUT CLASSES? I HAVE PERFECT ATTENDANCE." Jun started crying out.
"Nerd" Yhur blurted out, "You're the same." Mac called.
