"Like I said you could do your assignments here?" Mac tried recommending once again. After all, it was their fault that Jun ended up in their world in the first place.
"Ah yes what a great idea- I'M AN ARCHITECTURE MAJOR HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT??" With a lower chance of concentration with whatever is going on in their world. Jun still refuses to do his projects unless he gets back to his world even though it takes a week.
Yhur suddenly remembered something, telling it to Jun, "You know, there IS another way to pass the door faster."
Jun had never turned his head towards someone so fast before, showing his happy state behind the covered eyes.
"By the way, where are we."
As June stood in front of his chair just realising that they were talking in some sort of magic realm. "Don't worry about it."
.
Sounds of birds chirping all around, it wasn't any normal bird. Rather, a species of birds called a 'Quanti-bird' that has been managed to be tamed over the years. Larger than usual birds as they're able to control their sizes. They're used as companions of adventurers to complete the tasks that they chose.
Though it isn't as busy as a market, it still has a room full of people that participate in their actions. Commissions are done by many from the easiest to the hardest with high paying prizes.
Which is where they are today, where commissions are done and for adventurers to do their usual adventures all around the country. Presenting..
"An adventurers guild?" Jun questioned while staring and looking around the current area.
This was the other way? "Another way to pass the door is if you've done these commissions." Yhur pointed at the billboard filled with commissions. From newly placed to even the ones that are forgotten and just been left. After completing the commissions, they will be granted a key to open the door. However it's only a one use key which means that they will be allowed to go in and out whenever they please, without any other conditions.
Hearing that it's probably a good outcome, Jun asked how much commissions was needed to fulfill the key.
"50 commissions."
"Haha you sure say a lot of odd things- 50 COMMISSIONS?" Jun's eyes widened as he stepped back.
"What? Can't do it?" Yhur teased. But Mac was the opposite, with all his might he tried to motivate Jun. However Jun just stayed there with despair on his face. "How could I ever do it in less than a week??" Jun whined.
Yhur sighed in the distance seeing the hopeless Jun. Putting his hand on his chin in a mischievous way, "You're really that pathetic?" He stared down.
"Y-Yhur-!" Mac tried. "What was the point in even inviting you if you can't even do such a simple task?" Teased and insults kept coming out of his mouth. "You, know.. Someone actually completed the 50 commissions.. In only 3 days."
Jun put out an evil smirk as he sees Jun all quiet. Mac felt concerned about this and tried to tell Jun, "Now now, he's not usually this means so don't overdo yourse-"
"3 days?"
Yhur and Mac looked at Jun. It was as if an intimidating aura had covered him. An energy felt only if something scary was hidden somewhere. As if flamed had suddenly appeared in their vision out of nowhere.
"3 days huh?"
Jun's body started moving by itself towards the large nearby billboard. And immediately grabbed 50 possible paper commissions he could find, not caring about the difficulty and the rewards. From the newest to even the crustiest, old commissions that were hidden under all the other commissions was not an exception. He took it all.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA." Jun's shouting is heard all around as he does all these commissions in a very energetic manner.
From searching through the grasslands for rare grasshoppers, catching 15 fishes in a lake, climbing a mountain for a species of herbs, helping other villagers in their housework and even mining for crystals in a cave.
Of course the rewards varies from the difficulty as stated do it was also benefiting for Jun.
Jun continued his commissions as if he was doing homework that was due in the next 10 minutes. While Mac and Yhur was casually sitting in a barn, not drinking as it was still the early evening.
"How did you even get him to work with such energy like that?" Mac questioned Yhur with a displeased face. Taking back my words, there was indeed someone drinking. "Argh, that's what you expect from some Asian over-achieving kid." As he gulped another sip of his drink.
Resting his face on his hand, he looks at Yhur with a calmed face, "You sure could convince these types of people easily." "Hah?" Yhur have slightly seen that as an insult. "But it's good, that we've rather got a hard working person. You really are good at judging people." Praising and ruffling Yhur's hair. A slight flustered blush appeared on Yhur's face, not expecting a sudden compliment.
