It was exactly 11:00 pm. Jun was casually staring at the blank ceiling, there wouldn't be any lectures for the next one week from the previous incident.
He has all his time to relax and play around for a bit. Though he does not really have to since assignments they previously had would still be dued soon. Staring at his palm, how did he exactly do that, specifically, what he had done in the campus. Just magically creating something to life from an art canvas?
Nothing was logically making sense now, he dropped his arm from the sky. Jun was suddenly reminded of the boy, what was his name? Ah, Yhur. A very odd name indeed.
Staring at the clock beside his bed, urgent matters were almost due. The promised time for the so-called meet up was coming close. Forcing him to actually get up, almost in the middle of the night.
"It's almost 11:30.. Jeez."
Lacking energy, he still stood to go. Then grabbing his jacket from his chair. The night breeze is cold enough to freeze yourself to death.
Heading outside his apartment building, the wind wasn't too strong but enough to run through his hair. The drizzle was light, however getting sick would delay what seem to be an important meet with the unknown Yhur.
With the piece of paper inside his pocket, he opened up his umbrella to head out.
.
The rain finally stopped, and so did his moving legs. Arriving in a forest? Looking around for a bit more, it seemed to be an abandoned ruin.
With vines hanging from the broken brick walls. Stars shining and filling up the pitch black night sky. Reflecting on the puddles of rain water.
There seemed to be absolutely no one in the location right now, just as expected when it's only 30 minutes before midnight. Was he tricked by those people? The possibility was small yet doubt fills his head.
He started to walk around and past the large walls, no one, not even a single animal sneaking in. But there was something that caught his attention. Something that is placed in the biggest, spacious area in the whole place.
A single door, leading to no where.
Curiosity and childishness came up and took him over. And without thinking, he end up turning the handle and opened the unknown door.
"What.. The hell.."
Was it some hologram or his imagination? Having hallucinations would be more logical than anything else now. Assignments and whatever just happened yesterday.
But looking at the other side of the door, there was nothing, just pure air. Even after going back and forth the door frame multiple times.
Should he go in? In a forest that's in the middle of nowhere, and a strange door that could magically lead to something that he does not want to experience. Absolutely... NOT???
Moments before even wanting to shut the door, he felt something strange. As if he had to go in as quick as possible.
Of course, he chose to resist and go back, going in would be the reason why horror movies tend to have a lot of nightmare and dead chara-
"WHAT THE FU-"
A kick was suddenly sent to his back. Kicking him inside the door and to the ground, face first.
Quickly standing up as fast as he could, he tried looking back. Though, the culprit wasn't visible enough from the darkness of the other side. The side he was previously in.
Even after banging the door multiple times and even throwing nearby barks of wood directly at the door, it still refuses to budge. As if it was impossible to open.
"Shit shit what do I do??!!"
He started to think about the meet up more seriously than before and thought that should've waited instead. Even starting to repeatedly pinch and slap his face, thinking that it's only a dream.
Before even able to smash the door with an attempt of a flying kick, his umbrella was stolen by a squirrel. A small one to be exact which slightly amused Jun. Forcing him to hurry and chase after the squirrel. Turns out, this behavior then led him through a wild and big forest that was around the previous mysterious door.
The bushes moving and noises gave out where the squirrel was hiding and running off. Giving Jun a better chance to find the squirrel. He had to, it was his friend's, Riku's, umbrella that he shared yesterday after the incident. An umbrella Riku forgot to bring home since he stayed in Jun's apartment until the rain stopped.
"Gotcha you troublemaker!" As he finally managed to catch the fast squirrel. Staring and the umbrella to see nothing was broken, a sigh of relief came out.
Now, all he needed to do was to find a way out of...
