"Not now, Lana. I know you," Ethan's words resonated, and Lana couldn't help but giggled mischievously. Observing Ethan's expression, she discerned the seriousness beneath his exterior.
Sitting up on her bed, Lana gestured for him to join her, saying, "Sit," as she tapped the space beside her. Without hesitation, Ethan complied, taking a seat next to her.
"I'm being monitored by Peter. He put a camera in the house, every single place. He sent someone to keep on following me everywhere I go, so I had no choice but to put on that show," Lana confessed, taking a deep breath.
Ethan listened attentively, smirking as he responded, "I didn't expect less from Peter anyway; I think he's going too far."
