Back at Kelvin's office, the only sound in Kelvin's mind was 'tick tock, tick tock,' as he kept monitoring the time. Finally, it was time to close. Although he had the power to go home anytime and tell Selena to go home as the CEO, he decided against it.
Seeing that Selena was deeply focused on her work, and enjoying watching her from his seat, he chose to wait until closing hour.
"It's time to go. Wrap that up, and let's go home," Kelvin said, and Selena nodded.
Standing up, she moved towards his desk and gathered her files. "I'll go drop this in my drawer," Selena said, and he stopped her.
"You can drop it here," Kelvin suggested. Surprised by his words, Selena nodded and left the files on his desk. While she arranged his desk neatly, Kelvin stared at her.
