The young boy held his mother's lifeless body inside the living room, tears streaming down his face. His butler sat by his side, attempting to comfort him, but nothing had an effect on him as only his mother's death affected him.
He remained in that position, continually hearing the intensifying sounds of battle. Although he wished he could go outside and support his father, he knew he was powerless and wouldn't survive facing even one enemy.
Deciding to stay put until his father returned, hours passed by, and the noise gradually diminished until it faded completely. The boy, no longer hearing any battle noise, anticipated his father's knock on the door, signaling that it was safe to open. However, that knock never came.
