Selena dressed for work, left her room and encountered Kelvin coming out of his room simultaneously.
Kelvin wore a fancy black suit, all neat and sharp. The inner shirt was buttoned down, leaving the top two buttons open, giving a glimpse of his chest and broad shoulders. His sleek black shoes and matching Rolex watch completed the polished look.
Their eyes met in the hallway. Selena, catching sight of Kelvin, nervously swallowed.
Kelvin closed his door, noting Selena's reaction but payed no mind to it. He had decided to punish her by ignoring her for as long as he pleased. Heading towards the stairs, he began descending. Selena, gathering herself, silently followed behind.
"Good morning, Kelvin," she greeted as they descended, but he ignored her.
Surprised by his lack of response, Selena wondered, 'Is something wrong with him? Or is he still mad at me?' She contemplated silently.
