"I'm doing it for my dear brother." Lana said
Mr. Luis couldn't help but wear a sly smile as he listened to Lana's response. He leaned in closer, his piercing gaze fixed on her. "Did Peter send you?" he inquired, curiosity dancing in his eyes.
Lana let out a weary sigh and met his gaze head-on. "I wish he did, then I wouldn't have to go through all this trouble," she lamented bitterly. "But you see, everyone has their own aim. My brother had no hand in this, and he's blissfully unaware of my little visit," she declared with conviction.
Mr. Luis feigned contemplation, stroking his chin as if lost in thought. "Hmm... So, you're telling me you're here to visit your future home?" he mused, his tone measured.
A smirk played on Lana's lips as she locked eyes with Mr. Luis. "A visit, indeed," she replied with a touch of sarcasm. Her response elicited a hearty laughter from him.
