Arzan's energy was drained, drying out like a dry leaf, where the slightest touch damaged its fragile parts.
Blurred vision, shortness of breath, and pain all over her body. In the mottled darkness, Arzan saw Ain holding a blue flame sword-shaped weapon engaging in close combat. Every time their weapons collide, that's produce sparks and electricity.
The vampire aimed his attack at a nearby tree, the impact mark emitting electrical sparks that would burn anything nearby if wasn't careful.
Arzan's eyes narrowed as a shadow approached her, she tried to stay away from whatever it was, she felt that it wasn't Ain who was approaching her.
"Shit," Arzan hissed when her leg felt stung by something, the only thing she knew was two shadows approaching her before her vision went black.

Arzan groaned, her eyes blinking to adapt to the light entering her sense of sight, skeptically exploring the room where she was tied up.
Wait, she's tied up!?
Based on instinct, the first thing Arzan did was try to escape.
"Don't move."
She hisses at anyone who catches her. She felt so useless knowing she was causing trouble to others cause was caught so easily.
The vampire is feeding on blood, he consumes it like someone successfully finding a water source in the middle of the desert. Arzan is disgusted thinking it might be hers because her wrists hurt.
"That's right, this is yours." He grinned and Arzan's body shuddered at the thought of what the vampire had done to her while she was unconscious.
The vampire narrows the distance between them. His blood-red eyes forced Arzan to face him.
"I've never tasted werewolf blood but yours is good. Thank you for the food."
"There's something wrong with you," said Arzan, not breaking eye contact, ignoring the pain in her wrist.
The vampire moved away. "I'm a researcher."
Arzan tilted her head a little confused, during this conversation her claws scratched the strap little by little.
Arzan gasped as the vampire breathed like a normal human in front of her face. "Don't you wonder where you come from?"
"No." She spoke hesitantly. To be honest, she was a little curious but more interested in finding a mate.
"Oh, I forgot to ask. Why are you traveling around the world?"
Arzan hissing sharply baring her fangs. "I won't say anything."
The vampire chuckled. "Just tell me, who knows, I can help you using an easier method than following a new species. You don't depend on anyone, you are free."
"Oh yeah." Arzan hissed, "But you caught me, it feels the same as being with them."
"No." The vampire looked away. "Mine is different. I'm a researcher and can't wait to know the ins and outs of your life."
Arzan's body shiver. "That sounds scarier."
"Okay, then I'll find out for myself."
Arzan blinked several times when the vampire cupped her cheeks and directed her toward blood-red eyes. It turned a blue color like her.
"What, looking for a mate?"
Bugh.
Arzan's patience in gnawing the rope paid off just in time. Using her feet she lunged at the vampire's cock then using the last remaining strength Arzan dashed outside. The vampire smiled mysteriously in her head even though Arzan didn't see the person at all.
"He's playing me, damn it. You think you can!?"
Arzan's hands clenched into fists, her jaw tightened and she smiled faintly. No one knew that she could cancel any information obtained from her. That's why Arzan travels around the world alone.
Arzan stopped for a moment to catch her breath under the tree. She looked around making sure none of one species had seen her.
"Perfect," Arzan muttered, cutting her wrist into taking a few drops of blood from her that were left to fall unceremoniously into the snow. From his mouth came a spell.
The werewolf hissed in pain, her wrist had not healed properly and she made a new wound.
The corneas of his eyes reflected a shadow of blood changing into rainbow colors, she watched it evenly, just like a preserved human statue.
"Arzan?"
Arzan turned her head in surprise to find Ain looking at her almost glaring. There was relief when she found out that the person was Ain.
"You came. Thank you for finding me," she said, her lips forming a thin line before darkness overtook her.
The cold snow would have been her resting place if Ain hadn't been quick to catch Arzan's body, placing her in his arms, patting the werewolf's cheek gently, hoping she would wake up.
"Shit." Ain saw Arzan's wrist, both the left and right sides were covered in wounds, hitting Ain mentally hard because he couldn't look after it.
Time feels like forever for Ain when carrying Arzan's bridal style, moving from one tree to another.
"I opened a new ability because I was too worried about you Arzan, I didn't know whether to feel happy or sad you were seriously injured."
A cave caught Ain's attention, his forehead furrowed thinking about whether it would be okay for him to bring Arzan in.
"At least my magic pocket can hold herbs." Ain looked at Arzan curled up in his arms.
After a minute, Ain decided he had enough to think about, he slowly entered the cave. Every time Ain breathes, the air forms vapor distorted by the cold weather.
Extra carefully, Ain corrected Arzan's curled position on his lap.
"Let's patch your wounds." Ain took the medicinal plant powder and slowly polished Arzan's wound, occasionally wincing feel it to the pain in his wrist.
"The wound is jagged, the vampire is gnawing on it like a rat?"
In Ain's imagination, the vampire changes shape transforms into a rat with fangs. He would look adorable without his sharp teeth.
In his arms, Arzan whined, Bambi's eyes opened slowly and blinked in confusion, her thick eyebrows knit together and her forehead furrowed.
"Is anyone still sick?"
For the time being, Ain left behind his surprise and curiosity at how quickly Arzan woke up, the welfare of the world door-crossing wolf was better for him.
"Uhghh." Arzan squirmed uncomfortably, wanting to get up, to which Ain immediately responded by helping her. He wanted to create the most comfortable atmosphere for the injured werewolf.
"How do you feel?"
Arzan held her head. Ain was confused, and tilted his head wondering, wasn't Arzan's wrist hurt?
She looked Arzan straight in the eyes, almost enjoying diving into the sea of green eyes between the not-so-big specks of black, he not looking for any signs of strangeness.
"Bad but won't cause death."
"Don't talk like that, you're scaring me."
Arzan smiled between dazed expressions, Ain grinned slightly but hesitated.
"Shall we go now?"
Arzan suddenly looked outside, panicked and confused, and Ain couldn't interpret what she meant.
"Crazy vampires aren't after us are they?"
Ain's jaw was tense in displeasure Arzan shivered in fear, most likely something bad had happened to her so traumatized her.
"We can hide here, anything for your convenience."
Arzan hissing as he looked back at Ain, making him confused about what action he should take, in the end, he just smiled uncomfortably.
A rumbling sound was heard, Arzan gripped her stomach and grimaced, clenching her fists there. It was a hard slap a thousand times greater than the other slaps for Ain.
"Wait here, I'll find food for you." Ain squeezed Arzan's shoulders to reassure her.
"No." Arzan shook her head. Ain's hand was held tightly, afraid he would leave. "I'm coming with you."
"I don't think that's a good idea."
Crack. There was a sound of wood being stepped on.
