Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Arzan Jealous

"Mate?"

Ades blinked in confusion if animated will appear a big question mark above her head, her eyes narrowed at Azza and Arzan as if they were the most unreasonable couple she had ever seen. Her gaze turned glaring at Arzan in disbelief. "You're an omega wolf? So what is he? Alpha or Beta."

Arzan scratched her head looked down in a very awkward manner. "I don't know, he's not a werewolf."

"So we are soul mates?" Azza smiled faintly, his hand rubbing Arzan's head.

"Then don't have physical contact with Ain anymore. I'm jealous."

Ain was shocked in disbelief, Azza must have had a personality disorder while they were away. He's not much of a talker!

Arzan's cheeks flushed, but she still didn't dare to look at Azza, she couldn't look her mate in the eye.

"Ouch."

Ain experienced a conflict of thoughts, sinking deep into the bottom of dealing with Ades again, her groan was a harsh code questioning his consistency in prioritizing things.

Arzan also began to assess Azza's body to see if he was injured. She smiled, grateful that Azza was healthy and fresh, just like her.

They are soulmates so Arzan shouldn't have been surprised when Azza held her hand. He is caring and warm. "Who did this?"

Arzan withdrew feeling guilty and confused. "Crazy prof vampire. The first vampire in the human kingdom world came here."

"We have to kill him," said Azza, the veins in his neck bulging, Arzan's first thought was to calm him down.

"It's okay. You calm your emotions."

"Sorry guys, I need to calm down." Ain hissing, focused handle Ades, Arzan gritted her teeth, really wanting to pounce on Ain if she didn't remember that he was right.

Azza grabbed Arzan's shoulder. "Let's go."

Arzan had nothing to do except follow Azza which holding her hand gently which felt warm like a fireplace in the cold weather. She smiled like an idiot, grateful that her long wait had paid off.

"What do I smell like? Do you like it?"

"Flowers and I love it." He squeezed Arzan's hand to convey his happy feelings but Arzan's forehead wrinkled and her eyebrows knit together. "Oh." Azza saw that Arzan immediately noticed the change in the werewolf's expression. He asked doubtfully. "What about my smell? Do you like it?"

Arzan was still conflicted when she answered. "You feel like rivers and moss, it's wet and soft so I feel comfortable."

Azza let go of their hand holding the warmth, Arzan felt very empty and missed the touch, skeptically looking at Azza. "Something's wrong, what is it?" Azza asked.

"No." Arzan was afraid that in their first relationship, doubts would blow away her dreams, letting her lie rather than Azza walking away.

"Hey." Azza cupped Arzan's cheeks gently and lovingly, directing her to his eyes. "It's okay, everything is good." Arzan was sad to see Azza sigh heavily. "Normally a pair of soulmates will immediately know their mate on the first meeting through smell and that didn't happen to you. That's why." Azza closed the distance between them enough for Arzan to feel warm breath on her face. "We can start slowly. If it's not a good fit we'll figure it out so it doesn't affect you."

It wasn't Arzan's wish to walk away to end any intimacy between them, she felt very wrong and had a very deep pain right in the pit of her stomach. "Yeah, I know I'm the only werewolf here."

Arzan smiled wryly, swallowing the bitter reality that even if a betrayal occurred, only she would experience the impact.

"But." Arzan looked up. "Why do you say that!? We didn't do anything wrong."

Azza looked down looking very guilty, a stoic expression exchanged with a caring gaze. "I messed up, I must have said your scent wrong."

"Where did that come from?" Arzan's lips trembled, as soon as the button was pressed, tears flowed.

"Your smell is sour, your expression also says it all."

That was good enough, Arzan didn't want to be a wolf who wasn't grateful for Moon Goodness' kindness which was generous in giving her a mate even though it wasn't perfect, in the process they would know the most appropriate course of action.

Since the first time she met Azza, she knew that Azza was good. Arzan was angry with herself because she was caught careless until Azza witnessed the incident where Ain kissed her.

"I'm sorry," Arzan sighed, taking a step closer. She smiled faintly, hoping that Azza would return her gaze in the same way.

"It's not you who should apologize, this wasn't a mistake it just wasn't a perfect bond."

Arzan's smile widened, they could be friends and go quite far to see how likely the two of them would go to determine which direction their relationship would take.

"You might say there's no need to say this but thank you."

Both of them smiled and Arzan had never felt happier in her life.

"We have a meeting to discuss plans." Ain is very suitable to play the role of a reliable atmosphere destroyer. Arzan snorted, rolled her eyes, stomped her feet, et and moved toward the house where they were resting.

"Congratulations Azza, I will kill you if you hurt Zannie." Ades grinned arrogantly, which didn't really reflect her situation cause she of being carried by Ain.

Azza could still feel Ain's sharp gaze on him but didn't feel disturbed. They had to discuss plans.

"So he's your mate?"

"Rights." Arzan nodded, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, very much in love, smiling stupidly.

"Hoek."

Arzan pouted, impatient to reply to Ain, while smiling she glared. "Now you're the only one who needs me and I can leave you whenever I want."

"Meh, don't forget you have a contract with me." Ain pointed at the mark on his neck resulting in a sharp hiss. Arzan pointed at Ain accusingly. "Maybe that's why Azza can't feel or smell me properly, delete it quickly!"

Ain laughed while holding his stomach in amusement, not caring about offending Arzan's feelings. Wiping the corners of his eyes from laughing too much. "Sorry to scare you but this won't work."

Arzan's eyes widened. "Are the marks permanent?"

"Who knows." Ain chuckled in amusement as Arzan hit him on the shoulder. "You're playing with me, I'll still remove that mark from you." She approached Ain, breaking the normal limited driving straight for the neck.

"Hey!" Ain rebels away, unable to let Arzan gnaw on his neck, in contrast to the wolf's ambition to remove the mark. The first mission cannot be failed.

"Ahem."

Both of them looked to see who the interrupter was, Arzan's eyes almost came out of place instinctively away from Ain. "I just want to remove the agreement mark on Ain's neck, please don't misunderstand!" Arzan said in panic, not believing that the terrible sound could come from her.

She snapped out of control didn't know who it was aimed at.

Azza didn't say anything approaching Arzan and Ain, stoic and calm as usual.

"It doesn't matter." Azza looked at Arzan, there was an affection for understanding because Azza's knowing smile attracted infinite gratitude in Arzan's heart.

She punched Ain in the chest, ignoring him and approached Azza, smiling stupidly and proudly, wanting to show it off to Ain. She turned around sticking her tongue out playfully in a mixture of disgusted amusement at the wizard.

Ain seemed to be somewhat affected by Arzan's sudden attitude, in his heart voicing curses at Azza in the blink of an eye, controlling Arzan by placing him in his power only with little attention and understanding.

"Damn, I can't be jealous," Ain muttered, pressing his chest in annoyance, hating himself.
