Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Hit Mentally

Several bad incidents managed to hit Ain mentally, forcing him to create a kind of defense that immediately activates at the slightest disturbance.

Against his will he held Arzan's arm, looking outside occasionally grunting.

"Want to see it?"

"Yeah, I smell food."

Ain smiled forcefully then chuckled awkwardly, scratching his head which didn't itch at all to improve his mood. Ain was amazed to see Arzan's eyes change color from a beautiful green to a soft blue tempted at the idea of getting food.

The appearance is not very good, saliva starts to appear almost dripping.

Ain wasn't surprised that Arzan dashed through the wind toward the source of the sound. Hunting instincts took over her body grinning at the forest rabbits nibbling on the nearly frozen leaves. The situation changed in an instant. Wolves are at the top of the food chain in the wild as long as they don't encounter other carnivores.

Ain grimaced, perhaps because she was hungry, Arzan didn't need to bother switching shifts to enjoy her food.

"Slow down Arzan, I won't take your food."

Ain's words were met with a growl.

The corner of Arzan's mouth was stained with blood, occasionally snoring, looking like he enjoyed her food. This condition led Ain to take a safe distance sufficient to protect it at a time not violate its territory.

"It's finished?"

Arzan snorted, still had the remains of the rabbit in right hand the werewolf. "You want?"

It only took a second for Ain to shake his head. "No thanks, eat until it's finished."

"Okay."

Ain started to get a little distracted and decided it was better to look away. In his wild mind, Ain imagined Arzan eating humans, her sharp fangs tearing through flesh, treating humans the same as her other prey.

Ain suddenly got goosebumps.

"I'm done, thank you for looking after me."

"Okay." Ain nodded, still lost in a wild stream of thoughts.

"Shall we go back to the cave?" Ain glanced at the cave through the corner of his eye, occasionally exhaling heavily.

There was no answer, Arzan just walked ahead of Ain, leaving the man to assume that Arzan agreed to his proposal. They entered the cave sitting far apart to respect each other's privacy.

"You're cold, let me warm you up."

"How do you do it?" Ain raised an eyebrow, not wanting to allow his wild thoughts to consume the remains of common sense.

Besides, he just likes teasing Arzan.

"Hug you."

"Ah..." Ain's mouth was slightly agape, a bit dazed as he nodded, unsure if positive thoughts would continue to anchor him.

Arzan rolled her eyes, got up closer to Ain, and hugged him protectively following the way the witch invaded her territory. Being hugged like that, Ain, who had a tall and straight body, even felt small.

"Is it comfortable? Are you warm?"

"I think so, thank you for warming me up." Ain grinned in Arzan's arms, returning to his usual self enjoying Arzan's special care.

"Oh, the crazy vampire is a researcher. I won't apologize for not getting much information from him. The desire to escape was so great that I couldn't think."

"No problem. You just managed to get out. I'm very grateful." Ain stopped for a moment. "Can I know the chronology of events?"

Arzan nodded in agreement. "He wanted to research me to see what I came from and what I was made of, to find out how to open the gates of the world."

"He hurt you?"

Arzan's hug tightened, almost strangling Ain, and hampering his breathing. "Cough, y-you're strangling me," said Ain, patting Arzan's hand.

"Forgive me." Her grip loosened. "He took my blood and ate it."

"Damn it, he wanted to open the gate at will. I'm sorry, he managed to follow us all the way here."

Arzan let go of the hug, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. "We're not back yet?"

"Oh c'mon, I told you that the King is on my side, being a little late it's no problem."

Arzan smiled meaningfully, her mouth forming a straight line. "When is it?"

"Afternoon towards evening, I want to avoid the crazy vampire."

That was enough for Arzan, she nodded in agreement and hugged Ain again, giving the warmth and comfort he had felt.

"I want to find a mate, can we now?"

In Arzan's arms, Ain shook his head. "The timing isn't right but let's do it."

Arzan's eyes lit up, which certainly was one of Ain's attitudes that she liked, he was not selfish, responsible, and trustworthy.

"Your strength has recovered, right?"

"Of course."

"Are you not afraid anymore?"

"My adrenaline is interested in finding a mate."

"Okay, come on."

Ain released Arzan's hug from him, stretched the joints of the body, the next moved his eyebrows outward, to which Arzan grinned in return.

"Come on." Ain stretched out his hand to Arzan, faithfully waiting for his hand to be accepted.

Arzan's body heat seeped into Ain's body directly, providing comfort to him.

The air blows, the snowflakes hit not only the face but the whole body.

"Don't switch shifts, we're will running."

Arzan clicked her tongue, frowning in annoyance. "Whatever you say, Ain."

After only taking about two steps, Arzan stumbled, not used to running in human mode. Arzan had expected Ain's reaction but the annoying laugh never came, on the contrary, Ain stopped coming to Arzan and helped her up while smiling faintly.

"Fighting, we just need to train your leg muscles to get used to running." He smiled gently. "Combine your wolf powers with your human form."

Arzan glared. "It's impossible."

"There's a crazy vampire!"

"Aaaaa...!"

Arzan's trauma lingered in her brain didn't want to let go, just by saying the name she ran away so as not to be arrested again.

Arzan continued to run as if she was fighting for oxygen, fast, strong, and didn't stop. She only stopped when her foot tripped on a rock.

"Aaaa...!"

The way she fell was not very elite, her face fell into the snow and her whole body was full of cold white pellets.

"Oh, I'm sorry Arzan, you ran too fast, I had a hard time catching up with you."

"Bastard, can't you use a more subtle method?"

"No, because you're unstoppable."

Arzan's cheeks rounded, she saw Ain cynical gaze, her hands raised put it into practice squeezing movements, very tempted to do that to Ain's handsome face.

"Next time I won't be tripped by your magic, you'll be the one who falls under me!"

Ain's face was pale in contrast to his expression, he grinned slightly, letting naughty thoughts run through the brain.

"Look on the bright side Arzan, you can run fast without taking hybrid form." Ain smiled broadly like a teacher who was proud that his student had succeeded.

Arzan gaped, her mouth opened into a small 'o', and grinned along with Ain. She felt quite proud.

"Ok, now I just need to avoid anything obstacles."

"Yup." Ain appreciated, two thumbs up at once.

Arzan didn't realize that she was as narcissistic as Ain before flipping her hair right into Ain's face.

"Ouch!"

"Sorry! Let's continue travel."

Ain was left holding his sore cheek.

The smell began to be felt, making it easier for Arzan to determine the direction where there were other species.

"That's a home, right?"

"There's only one, are you sure you want to enter it?"

Arzan sniffed the air, smelling there was something there.

"Come on, I want to go."

Ain shrugged his shoulders, nodded in agreement following Arzan, in his hand fire appeared to form a knife to guard against attacks.

Arzan flinched when her hand was held, she didn't withdraw her hand just because she knew it was Ain.

In the middle of the room, there was a glowing light, around it fireflies, butterflies, and honey were not fighting, it seemed like three different types of animals were created to be a family.

"You finally here, darling?"

Ain's mouth must be drooling, in front of him is a sexy woman!

She was dressed but naked.
