Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Vampire World

In the end, Arzan settled in a large, luxurious and new room. Arzan was sure that the room had never been occupied before, judging from its design.

It was too luxurious and grand for even an important guest's room.

"Damn, this room intimidates me." Arzan frowned.

"Princess, please eat."

As if that wasn't enough, Arzan also got a luxurious meal that tasted delicious. The woman smiled faintly, trying not to be too obvious to appreciate the palace maid.

"Thank You."

"There's something else you might need."

"No." Arzan shook her head, if there was anything she wanted to do it was to go outside.

When the palace maid was about to leave Arzan spoke. "Ain and Azza are back?"

"Already."

Arzan took the largest piece of roast beef, took a rough bite, and then left. "Thank you," she said, a piece of meat in her mouth.

"Where do you want to go, Princess?"

Arzan blinked tilting her head. "Meet that bastard Ain."

The maid gasped in surprise, not expecting such rude words. She shook her head. "At least finish your meal, Princess."

Arzan's eyes narrowed playfully and her face broke into a grin. "I have, thanks for the food."

Like an animal released from its cage, Arzan darted out, smiling faintly, feeling entertained by pranking someone.

"Ain bastard, did you get the vampire?" Arzan spoke casually, there was still a piece of meat in her hand.

Arzan had expected that people would look at her in the worst way, without reducing her respect, she smiled gracefully, lowered her head, and walked over to Azza and Ain.

The two of them were giving reports and Ain grinned, looking amused. "Unfortunately, no."

King Charlie stared at Arzan flatly, he was gloomy, showing a bad mood.

"But we know which Kingdom he comes from."

Arzan sneered, from behind her the palace maid hurriedly seemed afraid to approach her. "Princess, please finish your meal."

"You didn't finish your food?" the King asked.

Arzan's forehead furrowed, one eyebrow raised and her mouth pursed. "They're too fancy for my humble self. I only need one kind of meat." Arzan lowered her face.

"His Majesty."

Arzan turned her head, previously she didn't realize Ades was there mingling among the royal people.

Arzan's face immediately became flat as she observed Ades' graceful appearance, her fashion sense was mixed and matched with royal style.

A green dress sprinkled with trinkets and the skirt flared to reach her knees. Meanwhile, Arzan was still wearing simple clothes, refusing to be dressed up.

"Let me accompany Arzan." She smiled faintly down a respectful head.

His Majesty King Charlie nodded in agreement.

"But I want to hear information, His Majesty." Arzan is not afraid to express her opinion.

"You'll get it later, I don't intend to spoil you either."

Arzan smiled meaningfully, her hands clenched into fists while her heart was full of annoyance. Right beside her, Ades was about to hold her hand and wanted to guide her to come with her.

"Thank you, but you can let me go," said Arzan then looked away, followed by Ades behind her.

On their journey, Ades was enthusiastically babbling in her typical way.

"King Charlie is very kind, he is very wise and generous."

"A typical green flag king in the fictional world."

Arzan didn't know what Ades meant and didn't want to know. She focused on guessing what information Ain and Azza had gotten.

"I hope I can be his empress."

Ok, Arzan seriously didn't pay attention to Ades but her words were a bit absurd to her sensitive ears. Arzan looked at Ades with a very concerned, mixed expression of disgust. "Be careful of falling, you must not become a slave to the King's love."

"I don't." Ades' forehead furrowed thinking about Arzan's words. "It's so bad to think so?"

"Yes!"

"The king will a big head."

Not far, only two steps from there it was the palace maid, grimacing in torment at being in the middle of an impolite conversation about the king.

Ades was surprised to make a face that looked a little exaggerated. "But His Majesty doesn't seem like that type of person, he's kind."

Arzan laughed very forcedly. "You don't know how men work."

"But I want to admire His Majesty, he is the first person who doesn't criticize me."

Arzan rolled her eyes lazily, "Even in my opinion you are a strange person who is obsessed with supernatural creatures, let alone in the minds of ordinary humans."

"I was right," said Ades, frowning and confused, still looking thoughtful, which looked very stupid to Arzan.

In the end, she decided enough was enough to face Ades and her strange nature.

"Oh, so he's a confidant of the Lionos kingdom."

"Yup. He's smart like me and immediately wants to bite you, his instincts are sharp. He knows you're a gateway between worlds." Ain spoke casually, in his hands were various types of candy, sweets, and chocolate.

Arzan is sure that Ain must be suffering from a sugar-related disease.

"So what do we do after this?"

"Tomorrow we leave for the vampire world. The king wants to find something."

"What's that?"

Ain smiled broadly, his teeth dirty with the remains of chocolate and candy. Arzan looked away, not wanting to see more.

"Who knows." He shrugged nonchalantly.

Arzan rolled her eyes, took some chocolate, and noticed its shape.

"Eat it, it tastes delicious." Ain babbled as each of his mouths puffed up. "Oh, werewolves never eat human food? You guys only eat raw meat?"

"No." Arzan shook her head looking dreamy. "I come from the Pack but have sometimes been a Rogue."

"You're a Rogue!?"

Arzan patted Ain's shoulder hard enough to make the wizard wince. "I'm not finished yet." Arzan looked at him full of annoyance. "In human form, we occasionally cook game or purchase meat according to our tastes."

"You guys have a shop? What do you use to pay for it?"

"There's a type of money that goes into it."

"Oh. So the system is a mix of conventional and modern."

Arzan smiled faintly. "That's about it."

Ain nodded and continued eating sweet food that made his teeth ache. Arzan was very disturbed by this. "Are your teeth good?"

"Of course, remember I'm a wizard. Plus I'm also very good at keeping my teeth healthy."

Ain grinned playfully. "I'm just enjoying a snack."

"That's extreme."

Ain laughed loudly, hurting Arzan's ears, her hand lightly hit Ain's head. At least having a chat friend like Ain was quite fun, time passed without realizing it.

King Charlie stared straight at the gate without a heavy expression, the atmosphere was calm, and the wind blew gently enough to blow Arzan and Ades' hair a little.

Entering the gate, in a matter of seconds the world changes from what was originally a stretch of land with calm weather to cold weather covered in snow.

Arzan and Ades pulled together the coats and scarves they were wearing to adapt to the new world.

"Haacuuh."

Everyone turned, there Ain rubbed his palms together and then rubbed them all over his body.

Arzan looked at him sympathetically, she was also feeling cold but not as extreme as Ain.

"Wear this." Azza handed him a scarf.

"Oh, thank you, Azza." Ain used this object, considering it the most valuable object in the world.

"We'll only be here a week. Make sure you move quickly."

"Yes, His Majesty."

They answered in unison following orders, Arzan changed shifts and so did Azza. Based on the plan, Ades would ride Arzan while Ain would ride Azza, and finally, Kings Charlie and Elios would ride horses.

Following their departure from behind the tree a pair of flaming eyes were blocked by the shadow of the tree.
