A little while after they left home that day, Kaio took Cia to her school, which was not far from his college, since they were in a big city and due to their hard work, they were able to go to good schools and not let their mother down.
When they arrived at the front gate of the school, Kaio heard a few guys that were entering the school yard, blowing whistles at his sister and his brows furrowed then he sighed and she smiled at him, seeing the way he was behaving.
"Well, then I will see you when I get home later, also, will you be working later?" She asked and his eyes narrowed.
"Yeah, I will be working and I might be late as well, so will mom... Ugh, it doesn't matter, I will be here to pick you up, call me if anything comes up," He responded.
"Bro, be careful and ignore those bratty students, just because they were gifted doesn't make them special, I will see you later," She said and he scoffed.
Kaio was about to leave to get to his college on time but at the same time, he kept on hearing the guys, calling out to his sister and he didn't like that one bit of it and he approached them.
"Hey, can't you see she has no interest in you or do you want me to show you, huh?" He asked and Cia sighed.
"Bro, don't get into trouble," She said and a smile appeared on his face.
'Protecting my sister is my duty, but don't wory, I won't cause any problem,I might just reak a thing or two," He replied as he looked at them with a piercing look in his eyes.
"Damn it.... Hey, I have no interest in crap, I heard about you guys before, get lost or I am going to give you two," She said as she placed her hands together and a smirk appeared on her face.
The guys that were troubling her before, flinched seeing how the brother and sister were and due to feeling intimidated, they bowed their heads immediately.
"I am sorry," One of them said then they all rushed off together and Kaio peeked at them as they ran along then he and his siter laughed and she glanced at him.
"Go on now, stay out of trouble and please don't get into anything with that guy, both of you go to the same college now but..." She said.
"Relax and stop acting like my mother, I am older than you, I will act like he doesn't exist so don't worry about it too much, get a move on," He replied and she grinned then left before waving at him.
After seeing his sister off, Kaio left to go to his college, which was just next door and was one of the best colleges inside of the city of Tayon and he got in due to a scholarship, but his collage life was not as peaceful because of a person that he grew up with and didn't want to be around.
After a little while of biking, Kaio arrived at his college and he went to park his bike as other student were rushing in and he sighed then went inside of the building as well.
"Damn it, I have a test and I am going to be late," He said as the bell rang and he rushed up the stair to get to the second floor of the building and at the same time, he bumped into someone.
"Ah, sorry," He said, not looking back at whom he bumped into.
"What the hell Kaio? Are you not seeing properly this morning?" Someone asked and he stopped thn looked down at a group of boys together and his eyes narrowed as he looked at them.
"No, maybe I am not, fix it, I don't have time to waste here, bye," He responded then rushed off.
"You-" before the guy could say anything else, Kaio was already gone and the guy's brows twitched in irritation.
'Well, good thing I managed to dodge them, I am in no mood to deal with them right now, I have enough to do,' Kaio thought as he arrived at his class and he exhaled deeply.
As he exhaled deeply, due to rushing, he was panting a little and a teacher, whom he didn't realize was in the class at the time, approached him as the other students looked on.
The teacher tapped him on his shoulder and when he turned around to see who it was, the guy smiled at him and a blank expression appeared on Kaio's face.
"I see that you are a bit late today again... Taking your way time, huh, Kaio?" He asked with a sheepish smile and Kaio smiled a little nervously as he looked at the sir, who somehow, he always bumps into even when he is a bit late.
'What the hell is wrong with this day? Everything is just too weird right now, this has not happened before, not like that, ugh,' He thought as he stared at the man.
"So, Kaio? What do you have to say for yourself this morning?" He asked and Kaio sighed.
"Well, nothing but the truth, please listen carefully sir before throwing me into detention for anything," He responded and his teacher's eyes narrowed as he looked at him.
"Fine, start talking, I don't have time to waste," The teacher said.
Kaio nodded then took the teacher to a part of the classroom, where the other students couldn't hear them and began explaining why he was late.
After he finished telling the teacher about his morning, the teacher chuckled as Kaio stared at him with his brows sightly furrowed.
"I see, well, you had a bit of a hectic morning, I understand and I will let you off this time, but that is only going to be just for today and you need to focus, there is going to be a test," The teacher said then Kaio nodded.
He went to his seat and sat down with a sigh as the teacher began their class and he took out his books and tried his best to pay attention, despite having other things bothering him.
