The Master of Ceremony, a tiger in a tuxedo, emerged from behind the stage, welcoming us to the Mercenary Guild's auction.
"Our first item," he gestured to a massive chain on display, "is a golden artifact. It can temporarily set a chained player's attributes to zero."
The room buzzed with excitement. It was a rare artifact, and even I found it intriguing. Contemplating whether to bid, I scratched my chin.
"The bidding begins now," declared the tiger, and bids soared from 50,000 silver quilt. I hesitated, watching the prices climb to 20,000,000, deciding it wasn't worth the money.
I shrugged, even when my killing points were sufficient, I didn't need something like that anyway. I was strong enough to just kill a crowd of players.
"Really? It's like, super handy for messing with enemies, especially in PK," he confidently explains.
"Ah, anyway, I'm Raphael. You?" He sticks out his hand.
