Chapter 65 - Human Nature

"I don't mind. I've seen many terrible deaths in my life, and yours isn't too different from them," he remarked, eyeing Ara's lifeless form, stoking the flames of my anger. "At least I'd never be in her position."

In a fit of rage, I kicked his head until he was thrown away, not too far off. Approaching him, I vented my frustration by mercilessly kicking his body, an outlet for my seething anger.

Stopping only when his face became an unrecognizable mess, I took a deep breath, realizing I had run out of time due to his infuriating skill. My body grew colder and heavier. 

I could even feel my foot become harder, like a mannequin. If I kick him once, my feet would definitely break off. 

Kneeling beside him, I asked, "Tell me, why are you doing all of this to her? You have a problem with me, not her."

The man chuckled blood, "I don't know. I think... It is human nature to be cruel to others."
