Lydia and Ms. Camille had managed to hide themselves within a damaged building without much of a problem. In fact they were surprised as the saw Huey being chased by the eagle.
"Just as he said" Lydia couldn't help but mutter under her breath.
A few seconds prior Huey had asked them about their respective abilities. At first they were confused but then he simply said that it would increase their chances of surviving this encounter. He said he would be the bait since the eagle would more than likely be after him.
"Come on we have to get into position as well" Ms. Camille stated as she got up at this point a series loud of explosions could be heard as the ground shook.
To the horror of the two ladies, they had barely seen Huey being sent flying through multiple buildings. Lydia felt her heart constrict and her breath hitch. Could anyone even survive that?
To her it was already as if Huey had already died and somehow that thought of it devastated her. Tears formed in the corner of her eyes before flowing down her cheek.
Ms. Camille was shocked without a doubt as well. She wondered how a creature can have that much power in such a short amount of time. When she looked and saw how devastated Lydia was, she steeled herself.
She was the older woman here and she had to get them moving regardless of the outcome, they couldn't afford to lose it now.
"Hey we have to hurry and do our parts well" she shook Lydia's shoulders forcibly. "Do you hear me! Huey might not be dead yet every second that we waste could be a second less that he has"
The words seemed to work their magic because almost immediately Lydia regained her focus.
"Come on!"
"That's more like it"
Lydia ran ahead with Ms. Camille following closely behind her. The direction they were heading was of course where Huey had been blown off to.
They ran for 2 minutes before they actually arrived 20 meters away. They could see the eagle standing directly over something
"Dammit aren't you taking too long?" they heard a familiar voice coming from below the eagle
Even though it was weak Lydia felt like she could recognize that voice anywhere. Immediately she stretched out her arms as she activated her summoning skill
"Kalibre!"
A large magic circle with green runes appeared on the ground before her and gave of a bright flash that blinded her for a second before it disappeared.
A majestic looking large serpent appeared before her its green scales shimmering lightly under the dim sky. This was her familiar Kalibre the Serpent king and it was a peak first star existence.
"You know what to do" Lydia said as she looked into its green snake-eyes before it dashed towards the eagle and swinging its tail

The eagle was about to pierce my chest with its claws but it suddenly stopped and raised its wing to shield itself.
From my side view I could see something large like a whip coming towards us and in the blink of an eye a large tail knocked into the eagle's wing with so much force that a bang reached my ears even sent the eagle tumbling 5 meters away.
The eagle got back up furiously. It flapped its wings but to its dismay its right wing was hanging limply to the side. Clearly broken.
A shadow loomed over me but when I looked through my blurry vision I smiled at the over 5 meter tall serpent standing before me.
"So this is how we meet again huh"
The serpent's eyes glowed for a moment as I felt a connection to my mind
'Human can you move?' I heard a female elderly voice in my head
"I think so" I strained to sit upright but with how badly hurt I was the task was comparable to lifting 1000 kilograms before the apocalypse. By the time I managed to sit up sweat was falling down my blood stained face.
"Huey!" Lydia ran towards me like a momma duck racing towards her ducklings. She knelt beside me so fast and wrapped me in a tight embrace
"Ow!" I guess I also broke a couple of ribs as well
Ms. Camille knelt beside us. "Let me heal you"
"Sorry to trouble you" I smiled slightly as she activated her skill innate skill First aid a green light glowed from her hands and shone over my body.
A warm flowed through my body and I felt my internal organs settle though they didn't recover to the max I could tell that they had healed by about 30%.
"Alright lets finish this" I said as I took out a small bottle that had a little liquid. Taking it I felt my arm heal alittle just enough for me to move it.
"Are you sure about this?" Lydia asked concerned
"Not like I have a choice right?" I stood and for a second I was unsteady. "How long can you summon the big snake?"
'I am Kalibre human remember it' the serpent huramphed in my head
"We have a minute left" Lydia
"A minute to take down a second star existence huh" I muttered as I looked at the grounded eagle that glared at us. If looks could kill then we could have died a thousand times over.
"Lets go Kalibre. Ms. Camille get ready for my signal alright"
She nodded.
We charged forward Kalibre taking the lead with her large body. She kicked up dust as she moved. She struck out with her tail once again but the eagle wasn't going to fall for the same trick twice.
With a bright flash it disappeared before reappearing a few meters above Kalibre's head with a swing of its single wing multiple wind blades flew out. When they knocked into Kalibre's body, they did no damage to her beautiful scales.
At this point I ran up Kalibre's body as the eagle quickly lost altitude. I jumped off her head with my strength heading up straight towards the eagle.
It swung it's wing again launching wind blades towards me but I throwing out my fist I activated 'Break'. I felt an energy wrap around my fists. It was a nostalgic feeling. I hadn't used it back then because it wasn't the time but now…
I was going all out.
The eagle's golden eyes widened when it saw me destroy its wind attacks. At this point I was directly below its head. I threw a ruthless knee-kick under its jaw knocking its head upwards and using it as a foothold I launched myself downwards accelerating my descent.
At this point Kalibre shoot her tail knocking into the eagle.
Boom! Bang!
Like a comet the eagle roughly hit the ground kicking up dust and gravel. The impact shook the earth.
