Annabelle snuggled into her duvet, her eyes squinting in sleep. She stretched her tensed muscles, feeling weak, and turned on the bed restlessly, groaning as a result of the migraine that had plagued her.
Uncomfortable, she felt water droplets dripping on her face.
"Is the ceiling leaking? What kind of a ceiling is this?" She whined sleepily, burying her face under the duvet.
Her teary chocolate eyes fluttered open slightly, and she continued groaning, a migraine throbbing.
She used her hands to wipe away the water droplets, staring at them.
Her dizzy eyes flew wide open, and she sat up abruptly, crying out as her head throbbed heavily, feeling as though her head had been split open.
"Huh!" she gasped, checking her hands and the duvet, both stained with blood.
