After what happened, Calista thought the Crown Mansion would be a mess. She was surprised when everything seemed normal the next day she woke up. She felt like the events last night were just nightmares and she was the only one who had it.
"My lady, your lunch is ready," Lola informed, pushing a cart with lots of food prepared by the chef for the lady. "George said he was worried about your health, so he prepared a lot more than usual," she added.
Calista tucked her hair behind her ears and turned to face her maid. "I already told you, I don't have any appetite," she mumbled, leaning her back on the chair and closing her eyes.
Lola was used to her lady acting like that. However, after she went through the previous night, the maid understood it wasn't easy for the lady to cope.
