In a queen-sized bed wrapped in velvet sheets, a young lady with her shining golden hair nuzzled her face on the hard yet warm chest of the man sleeping next to her. She breathed quietly and would sometimes move her hands and legs whenever a distant howl could be heard.
As the moon rose and midnight was approaching, the howls became louder, making the lady feel uncomfortable with all the noise. She tried covering her ear with one hand as she laid on her side, but the noise was only getting louder by the second.
Calista groaned when she couldn't stand the noise anymore. Her lips pursed as she tried to convince herself, but her patience was running low faster than the howling intervals.
"Argh! Won't you shut up?" She yelled, hitting something… or maybe someone, in front of her. "I can't stand it anymore," she mumbled while keeping her eyes closed. The lady was aware she would have a hard time falling back to sleep again once she opened them.
