Rara and Kinntho spent the night continuing to explore, when morning light came Kinntho was beginning to worry.
"Lage hasn't come back," She muttered.
Rara turned to face Kinntho, "She'll be back," Rara insisted.
They began to climb a tall hill.
"What if she's in trouble," Kinntho burst out.
Rara spun around, "If you're so worried then why don't you go back." She stabbed a finger into Kinntho's chest knocking her off balance.
Kinntho regained her balance and stood up in her sister's face, "Why don't you go back, you're the leader," She said sarcastically.
Rara began to glow and Kinntho didn't back down.
Around them, rock started to melt but then cool creating strange swirls.
Just then something caught Kinntho's attention.
"Look up there," She said.
At the top of the hill sat a huge ruin of a castle.
It was the most beautiful place Kinntho had ever seen. Even from a distance, it towered over them. Kinntho counted its many towers, and even though the glass was long gone huge window frames remained.
Rara and Kinntho both cooled off and together they took off towards it.
But they stopped at a crumbled entrance. Strange whispers seemed to come from inside. Kinntho strained her eyes to see into the darkness.
"I think it's speaking to us," Kinntho muttered.
"I can hear it too," Rara replied, she put her foot onto the first crumbling stone.
Suddenly the palace sprung to life.
Stones mended themselves, lanterns lit and colour seemed to seep back into the building. Rara and Kinntho stepped through the door and into the hallway. The walls were bare though they looked like they had once been covered with pictures.
They followed the strange music down the hallway and to another door. This one grand, a huge towering wood door with a gold frame. Rara pushed the door open and gasped.
A huge chandelier hung from the ceiling and under their feet lay a beautiful carpet. They both looked up, three thrones stood tall, one glowed orange, with a fire symbol over its head, another blue with a water symbol and a third green with an earth symbol.
Together they climbed to the platform.
Rara rushed forward taking her throne which was in the middle. As she sat on it power rushed through her, she began to smile. She looked down at her hands and saw them glowing.
Kinntho too took her seat. She felt a rush go through her too.
Both thrones glowed, but the last one stayed dark.
As their own glows faded the room faded back into its dead state. Without the last component, the room was not complete.
Both girls stood up, feeling refreshed and new.
"We need to go get Lage," Kinntho said, "She belongs here too."
Just then something caught both sister's eye. Below them, another throne sat empty, but it glowed softly.
Rara leaned forward studying it. It glowed a soft green like Lage's throne.
"What does this mean?" Kinntho asked. She too had noticed the colour.
"We have company," Rara replied sharply, "We should find Lage."
