Chapter 10 - Tower Adventure

Today, Rowan plans to embark on a journey in the world of Zephyria, full of secrets and puzzles. Rowan prepares his belongings and is ready to begin his adventure, thanks to the magical ring he possesses, which also provides him with an assistant named Haval.

While on the journey, Rowan asks Haval, "The high priest mentioned that this ring could rapidly amplify my power, but why isn't it happening now?" Haval responds, "The power amplification doesn't work in the regular layers of Zephyria. Zephyria consists of multiple layers, each with its own unique properties. This ring originates from a higher dimension than your regular one, and the technique for power amplification must reach conventional levels within that ring's boundless dimension."

Rowan inquires further, "What do you mean by 'boundless'?" Haval answers, "The Crocodile Ring, which can grant immense power and even multiply the user's strength at will, has its own limits in the form of boundlessness, representing the nature of unlimited multiplication that is still confined in some way, which is unknown."

Rowan asks, "So how do you measure the power of something that's boundless?" Haval replies, "Measuring an unbounded entity requires profound mathematical knowledge. You might attempt to use large sets to measure it, but that approach could still lead to inaccuracies."

As they continue their conversation, they come across a tall tower reaching into the sky. Rowan asks Haval, "What is this?" Haval responds, "This is the Black Star Tower. It might be a suitable place for your adventure." Rowan approaches the tower and touches its wall covered in thick charcoal-like dust. He discovers inscriptions of symbols he has never seen before.

Rowan asks Haval, "How do we enter this tower?" Haval explains, "This tower doesn't have a physical entrance. It uses supernatural power to create its own entrance." Rowan questions, "What does this supernatural power look like? Is it in the form of a ritual?" Haval says, "Yes, entering the tower requires a ritual called the Einz Ritual, a teleportation ritual with various levels." Rowan asks, "How do we perform the ritual?" Haval transforms into a suit of armor and demonstrates the ritual. Rowan tries the same, and golden dust sparks appear, creating a portal.

Before entering the portal, Haval changes into a shield and attaches to Rowan's body for protection. Inside, they find an empty room with lit torches hanging on the walls and a seemingly infinite number of doors. However, one door that resembles Rowan's own home catches his attention. He enters it but finds himself alone, as if in a shadow of the past. When he exits, he asks Haval, "What is this place? The tower appeared much smaller from the outside." Haval explains, "This is the Maze of Memories, and it has its unique property of boundless expanse, containing all past memories, emotions, and events. The tower appears smaller from the outside due to complex illusionary powers."

Rowan further questions, "Are there only my memories in this world?" Haval answers, "Yes, for you, but not for others. Each person can only access their own past memories in this labyrinth. It's like a hidden door when someone else seeks." Rowan nods in understanding.

As they walk, Rowan notices a peculiar entity at the edge of his vision. It's a cat-headed figure wearing a cowboy hat, calling him closer. Rowan approaches, and the entity introduces itself as Tom and hands Rowan a letter. Rowan asks, "Who are you really?" Tom replies, "I am the Moon Angler." Rowan questions, "What is a Moon Angler?" Tom responds, "A Moon Angler is a desert knight." As Rowan is about to ask more questions, Tom plucks his finger, creating a portal and a speedy motorbike, then departs.

Rowan opens the letter given by Tom, which reads, "If you can reach the top of the tower, I will come to fetch you to somewhere special." Rowan isn't particularly intrigued by the letter's content and notices a small inscription in the lower right corner with the name "Anton."

So this time, Rowan is about to explore the Black Star Tower, filled with intriguing mysteries.
