Chapter 11 - Demon Challenge

Inside the tower, Rowan attempted to find a way to continue his journey. He searched and searched but found nothing. All he could see were floating doors in the vast space.

Feeling desperate, he asked Haval, "Is there a way to reach the next level?" Haval replied, "Of course! Look around at the doors. What do you notice?" Rowan looked at the doors and noticed something unusual. He saw a door locked with a code that needed to be entered. After several failed attempts, he discovered a peculiar mathematical puzzle behind the door.

After much effort, Rowan finally found the correct 12-digit code for the door. Upon entering, the surroundings transformed into a golden hue, and Rowan, inside, was presented with a scroll bound by a red string.

He opened the scroll and saw an image of a ring and an Arabic incantation. He recited the incantation, and black liquid fell from the golden sky, transforming into a creature that appeared to be a demon. Rowan noticed a ring within the creature's body.

The demon, a humanoid figure with goat-like features, exuded a dark aura and pointed at Rowan with a black, fiery gaze. It suddenly attacked, roaring menacingly. Rowan dodged the attack and drew his sword. Haval transformed into a powerful aura, shielding Rowan from the assault.

The situation grew tense, and Haval said, "Charge!" Rowan raised his sword, aimed it at the demon, and Haval urged, "Attack!" Rowan rushed forward, leaping at the demon and struck. The demon managed to block Rowan's attack with its hand, delivering a powerful blow that sent Rowan flying.

Despite the setback, Rowan launched another assault on the demon. This time, his strike hit the demon's head, causing the room to tremble. The demon was still alive, looking at Rowan, who suddenly began to vomit blood. Unbeknownst to Rowan, it was a spell cast by the demon.

Thanks to Haval's protective magic, Rowan's stamina returned to normal. He began swinging his sword at the demon's chest, shattering its bones, but the demon was still alive and launched another attack at Rowan. Rowan managed to defend himself, and with a final, powerful strike, he beheaded the demon.

And finally, the demon died and turned into dust, leaving behind only a ring. As Rowan took the ring and put it on, he could feel a powerful presence within him, a strong, dark force. Rowan managed to control this power, and a voice began to speak, "It seems I have a new master." Rowan searched for the source of the voice and found it coming from the ring. Rowan asked, "Who are you?" The ring replied, "The ring you now wear is the Ring of Darkness, and I am Zaragoza, but you can call me Goza." Rowan nodded in acknowledgment, and Haval said, "Hmm, it seems I have a companion as well."

Rowan continued his journey to explore the tower, walking along the shining golden path. He asked, "What should we do next?" Haval replied, "I'm not sure." Meanwhile, Goza answered, "We need to ascend to the golden sky to reach the next level." Rowan inquired, "How do we fly?" Haval explained, "It's quite simple." Haval transformed into wings and carried Rowan into the golden sky.

In the golden sky, Rowan saw a distant golden gate. He approached the gate and tried to open it, but it seemed to be magically sealed. In this situation, Goza recited a lengthy incantation, and the gate opened on its own.

Rowan entered the gate and found himself in a green world. It wasn't made of leaves or trees but rather a digital or virtual world. Rowan was astonished to see all this within a tower, and Goza explained, "This tower is the main conduit to connect all the layers of Zephyria, and there's much more to explore." Rowan looked around and saw formulas that resembled programming code for creating applications or programs in the digital world.

In this strange world, Rowan asked, "Where is this place, really?" Haval replied, "This might be the main chamber of the tower's structure." In the distance, Rowan saw a computer program code. He approached it, and as he touched it, a third-eye appeared on his forehead. The code was a representation of Rowan's own reality, and the other codes might represent other entities.

In the silence of this world, two majestic entities descended from the digital sky, introducing themselves as Ling and Yi. Ling asked, "Who are you?" Rowan replied, "My name is Rowan. Who are you, really?" Ling and Yi responded, "We are essential elements in this world." They introduced themselves as representations of binary code, a numerical system consisting of two symbols, 0 and 1. Ling represented 0, and Yi represented 1. They were crucial entities in constructing beings based on computer code, such as Rowan himself.

Rowan's journey became increasingly complex and challenging, involving puzzles and mysteries, even delving into the digital world.
