Chapter 8 - New World

Continue the conversation between Rowan and the High Priest. When Rowan asked a question, "Has anyone ever been a Divine Traveler before?" the High Priest replied, "Yes, there was someone who had been a Divine Traveler before, and his name was Anton." Rowan inquired further about Anton, and the High Priest explained that Anton was similar to Rowan, coming from a foreign land with a desire to learn about the village's history.

In Anton's almost limitless journey, he wasn't just an ordinary traveler. He roamed and gathered discoveries in every world, including stories, traditions, and religions. He possessed a deep understanding of the art of traveling, with a unique ability to absorb the essence of each place he visited without causing harm. This included otherworldly realms and even fictional worlds.

In their lengthy conversation, Rowan and the High Priest sought to unravel the true nature of a Divine Traveler. Finally, the High Priest nodded and said, "Alright, if you truly wish to understand what a Divine Traveler is, we must go to Fahab's house."

Rowan and the High Priest set off for Fahab's house, and along the way, Rowan remembered the thick book. When he asked about it, the High Priest explained that the book contained comprehensive information about hidden worlds not commonly known to humans. Rowan asked who wrote the book, to which the High Priest replied, "No one knows."

Arriving at Fahab's house, they retrieved the book, and the High Priest began examining its pages. Rowan noticed pages containing Arabic numerals from 1 to 5, which were symbols of the Zamriel ritual. The High Priest explained that these numbers were part of the Zamriel ritual's symbols and the associated star-shaped geometry.

Rowan asked about the significance of these symbols, and the High Priest elaborated. Rowan was surprised when the High Priest asked, "Do you want to become a Divine Traveler?" Rowan, with many thoughts racing through his mind, replied, "Yes."

The High Priest instructed Rowan to prepare for the ritual and assured him that they could bring necessary items. Rowan asked about bringing items, and the High Priest agreed. Rowan was to meet the High Priest at the large temple late that night.

As Rowan made his preparations, Fahab suggested that he document his findings during his journey. Rowan agreed, so he readied a thick and expensive book he had bought in another country.

In the evening, Fahab provided a special drink to enhance Rowan's strength, intelligence, and health for the journey. Rowan felt invigorated and powerful after drinking it.

Nightfall arrived, and Rowan was ready to depart for the temple. As he journeyed through the dark, he encountered a mysterious light, which initially frightened him. He tripped and fell but was then lifted up by Azrael. Azrael warned that someone was coming, and at that moment, Khuttuk appeared, intent on killing them.

Azrael and Khuttuk engaged in a fierce battle, affecting both the supernatural and human realms. Azrael ultimately triumphed, beheading Khuttuk with his sword.

Meanwhile, Rowan had reached the large temple and was welcomed by four priests from different temples. The High Priest asked if he was ready, and Rowan confirmed that he was. The ritual began, with all the priests wearing robes inscribed with Arabic numerals from one to five.

They formed a star-shaped pattern, and Rowan stood in the center. The ritual commenced, with everyone reciting Spell and creating a glowing star circle and golden dust spirals. Rowan closed his eyes due to the blinding light, and when he reopened them, he found himself in a bright world full of lush vegetation and beautiful flowers, amazed by the dual presence of the sun in the east and the moon in the west. This was the end of the real world but not the end of the otherworld.
