Chereads / The CEO's Redemption / Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6

Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6

In a small apartment near the company where she moved her bags, there was a nice balcony with many followers.

The fragrance was strong and emanated from the corners of the rooms. It was evening when she received an unknown call. With a harsh answer, she answered: "Can you just stop calling me? I'm not going to leave with you, not after yesterday's drama."

She didn't focus on the number to be shut up by her new manager's voice.

"Miss Erika, I thought you had saved my number."

Her CEO said she swallowed her foolishness and apologized for this misunderstanding, but he said nothing.

"Just cancel my appointment for tomorrow with the drilling company, and you should have to come over the files that I sent you; Redima will provide you with the details of the agenda."

He stated, then she sighed, then he carried on.

"It is better if you keep your personal life out of work."

He said as he noticed her vivid voice, and he ended the call, making her curse herself with every passing second.

"Why did I think of him this much? Now my CEO has a bad impression of me".

She said, gazing at the classic-style bedroom with a beautifully designed en-suite bathroom, to the front was the living room, and the kitchen was located on the left side.

"Come on, Erika, it's not hard to be a secretary."

She uttered cheering herself, then fell to the soft matters; she lowered her sights in sadness. Evaluating everything that has happened recently exhausted her mind. First, her father, who had not yet recognized her as his legitimate daughter,

"Why should I face all these difficulties alone?"

Erika asked, then carefully inspected the company's rules; there was a vast difference in the nature of their work here.

"A coffee cup will be enough to calm this mess down."

She hissed while preparing her coffee. She headed to the balcony, which looked over a wonderful house with a huge, great balcony that faced hers.

The sun almost went down. To let the darkness have its party, she tried to relax and not overrate things.

"I believe that the owner of this house has a very sophisticated taste; the harmony of colors and the design of the furniture are my favorites."

Erika got lost in time, wondering about the fine house before her eyes and the fact that she loved the simplest in everything.

The house had a back garden with many roses. The place over there looked amazingly clean, as if the owner of the house was in a war with the dust.

"I don't know where this marriage will lead me, but the only thing I know is that I should not lose myself to him."

She said as she slipped by the door, afraid of her past feelings that would be awoken. The last time she followed her heart again, it was a disaster.

She lay on the floor with her hand over her eyes, trying not to cry. She woke up early, and she went to the balcony to take her jacket.

The strong wind below made her widen her sights to fall for his strong-built muscles, which were charming in a way she did not want to blink.

"Damn it, he is so hot."

She muttered as if he had heard her. Just to move his hand like a peacock, showing off his dazzlingness, he whispered:"Hi"

He slowly put on his shirt after she had turned her face to the other side. She was ashamed of herself. He stepped by the edge of the balcony and stared at her, saying: "This is not the first time you see me half-naked."

His statement made her feel a little awkward.

"You! Ah! I can't believe it."

She shouted, and she felt the time freeze the moment he jumped to her balcony like it was a professional circus show. She was in shock, amazed by his power and his flexibility.

"The distance between the two balconies is far away; how can he jump so easily? It's impossible. Was he not afraid to fall?"

She thought, walking back as he stepped forward, that she felt his hand running through her long, icy hair.

"I just wish to make sure you are a fact and not of my imagination."

He stated smiling, she wanted to slap him; he turned her to be stocked in his chest, and she could hear his unstable heartbeat. His perfume made his touch erasable, and she almost fell from above.

"How dare you?"

She uttered as she bit her teeth in anger, and he slowly released her to fall to the floor. He sat on his feet.

"I will call the cops."

She was sighing, and her temperature rose. He tenderly smiled, tapping on her head. She dragged herself away from him. She watched him jump back to his house.

"I will visit you later; I have to go."

He said as he stood before closing his glassy door, then said:

"I'm Ronald. Nice to have you nearby, my new neighbor."

He said while winking at her, she felt as if to throw out; she grabbed her jacket; she forgot to use the elevator; she went down the three-staircase without feeling tired.

"Whoever thinks of himself. He has crossed all the limits."

She said it was too late to make an argument with him; instead, she went to catch her new job. She made a promise to deal with him later.

"I did not believe that I got rid of Raphael just to find myself living near that eccentric doctor; what was his name?"

She whispered then she parked her car in its special place.

"Huh! Yes, Ronald."

She was talking to herself. As a pretty lady stopped her at the company's gate who said: "I'm Redima, your coworker, from here, Miss."

She showed Erika the way to her office, which was facing the CEO's office.

Redima was two inches taller than Erika; she had short twilight hair, her body was perfectly glowing.

"Here's my work done. I hope you understand everything. You can ask me anytime."

Redima said friendly smiled at Erika..
