"Don't give it more than it is; I didn't come here to take the company."
Mr. Rafael said, gazing at Erika, even though his looks were telling her to relax. He cleared his throat and raised his voice.
"By the way I have a good percentage of the stocks, You should be grateful for letting you play around with this company."
Mr.Rafael said, then eyed Mr. Grand with such a cold expression, who just bit his teeth in anger.
"This clumsy person who thinks himself does not know that I am more dangerous than he imagines; he will see the consequences of messing around with me."
Mr. Grand muttered, and the looks of hatred filled his heart. Every businessman in this city had a grudge against Mr. Rafael. Because he always took everything he wanted, regardless of the means.
"I came here to bring what was mine."
Rafael gave Redima a warm, passionate doze, which made Erika boiled. She felt jealous, burning her soul. She coughed and said, "I'm sorry, gentlemen."
She apologized, bowing; Mr. Grand never took his eyes from Erika's thighs; and Redima hardly held her tears.
The meeting was ended in this hilarious manner. Only Erika and Mr. Rafael left alone in the meeting room. None of them talked to each other; just their eyes were narrating their excuses and the tough days that they had without each other.
Erika walked with her full confidence; she stood on her top toe to reach his high. She grabbed the upper of his suit, and he pulled her to his large chest. She glimpsed at his hand, which was moving on her waist, heading down.
"Mr. Rafael, I..."
She muttered, not knowing what to say. The anger she was feeling for him all disappeared. He leaned his head until his forehead touched hers.
"I miss you; did you even know?"
He softly said, she skipped a heartbeat; the ghost of Redima and Rafael, who might have been in a relationship before, made her pinky dreams turn black.
"We miss the things that we can't have, Mr. Rafael."
Erika stated, he released her and sat straight on the chair; his eyes were on the papers left on the table.
"This company does not suit you, my iron lady; you don't need to work; you already have me."
He uttered, then he opened his arms for her to fall at; she scrolled her eyes, poiting at him.
"You are my problem, Mr. Rafael; just keep your nose off my business."
Erika's tune got tough; he was so quiet watching her yell.
"For your sake, Erika, working as a secretary, this is an insult to the iron lady. Someone with your intelligence and beauty should be with someone like me who appreciates special talents.
Rafael stated that while he was walking to her side, she stepped back to hit her back on the wall. He ruined her life, and now he began for her to be with him.
"Give me a month, and I promise you will make this company at the top."
She hissed every word slowly in his ear, and he smiled like those who knew the end of the story before reading it.
"And if you fail to fulfill your promise, then you should obey me in silence."
He said that while about to carve her neck, she pushed him and threatened his death if he dared to touch her.
"You're my wife, Erika; remember this, and it's better if you act like a loving wife to her husband."
Rafael said while walking to the door that she turned against him and fell to her knees the moment he left the room.
Her body was screaming from the high heat; she found it hard to play the tough girl in front of him; if he wasn't the cause of her past problems, she would happily put herself into his arms and be his adorably wife.
"If he keeps saying those words, I will..."
Erika said one employee came and asked for her to call Harry. She headed to the exit gate, where lots of journalists gathered around Mr. Rafael.
Mr. Grand was standing by him, but he wasn't glad to answer their questions.
She did not focus on the noise in front of her as much as she was observing the details of Mr. Raphael; he was so handsome and good enough to be a mysterious model.
Erika didn't find Redima at any place; she searched for her a lot, and she wanted to kill her doubts.
With the difficulty of the security men's intervention, they cleared the way for Mr. Raphael to cross. His existence itself was tinsel.
Erika didn't believe this day had ended; she dragged herself back to her apartment, only to find that her father was waiting for her.
"It seems that misfortunes do not come singly."
She thought as she stood waving her hand and welcomed him in an overly looking way.
"We have to talk."
Mr. John stated that he was serious, not like usual. She opened her apartment and asked him to sit down.
"Okay, I'll get into the thread; I've started praying, sending threatening messages and by multiple means."
Mr. John said to be cut by Erika's giggle. She poured him the tea, then said:
"I think this is not the first time that you have received such a threat."
Mr. John didn't show any reaction to her statement; he gazed at her with suspension from toe to head.
"It is not a death threat or the like, but something more despicable."
Mr. John showed her old pictures of her mother with him in such shamless positions that she didn't look at them twice.
"They threaten to reveal my illegal relationship with your mother, and they know that you are my illegitimate daughter."
Mr. John stated
Erika's mad smile arose, and she began to lose control of herself. She quietly said:
"This is not my cup of tea, Mr. John Milne; I'm not part of your ancient empire, and I wasn't part of your family, so why should I care about your reputation, especially now?"
Erika said, biting her teeth.
"I tried a lot before; I even begged you to accept me and my mother as part of your family, but you refused, and on top of that, you sold me to that idiot, Rafael."
She said.
