After a moment of silence, Natalie decided that tea time would be a good idea. So she asked one of the servants to set it up in the garden. Have tea with a nice view and fresh air. That would be nice.
Hana responded enthusiastically. After babbling for a long time, her throat was a little dry. And she would never refuse her beloved cakes.
"You just want to eat cakes, don't you?" Eric mocked her after his father had taken Arion back from his arms.
Arion breathed a sigh of relief, 'Finally.'
Hana ignored him, too excited about her cakes. He snorted in disappointment, but didn't pursue it any further.
As they walked toward the garden, Natalie whispered to Arsen, "How's your paperwork? Reiga must be looking for you."
Arsen shrugged indifferently, "I'll finish it later. Resting for a while is fine."
Arion glanced at his father, 'You just want to escape, right?'
Arsen continued sourly, "Besides, that meeting made my temper rise, so he won't protest if I take some time to calm down."
Arion frowned. He still remembered their conversation about the meeting that ended with the king's temper exploding. No wonder he still didn't want to return to his office. It must still be a terrible atmosphere.
Noticing that her husband was in a bad mood, Natalie changed the subject, "Including tea?"
Arsen looked at his wife with a small smile, "Including that too."
He snorted in amusement, "For now, I'm free from his ramblings and he's stuck with my century enemy." He said in a satisfied tone. He felt satisfied that he could make his assistant suffer with his paperwork for a while.
Natalie chuckled and patted him gently on the shoulder, "I understand. Enjoy the short time with us."
Arsen smiled slightly, "With pleasure."
Arriving at the garden, the twins immediately climbed into their seats. They obediently waited for the cake to be served. When Arsen was about to sit down, Natalie stopped him immediately.
"Let me hold Arion," Natalie said with open arms, prepared to hold Arion.
Arsen gave her a confused look, "I don't mind holding Arion." Even so, he still handed Arion over to his wife.
Arion rolled his eyes in annoyance, 'Please stop moving my body. It makes me dizzy.'
Natalie snorted and pushed Arsen's shoulder to sit down immediately, "You should relax while you can. Once you get back to the office, you're going to be sitting for hours. Just relax your legs and thighs. Let me put Arion on my lap."
Arion looked at his small body, 'I'm sure my body is not that heavy for an adult.'
Arsen sighed, "Arion is not that heavy." He muttered quietly but did not protest against his wife's actions.
Natalie was right when she said that he needed to relax for a while. The thought of what had happened earlier already made his emotions rise. And if he had lost control like in the meeting room, he could have accidentally hurt Arion.
He had to get back to work after this, so for now he had to focus on calming his emotions and his magic. Spending time with his family was one of the most effective ways to do that.
As she felt Arsen begin to relax, Natalie smiled contentedly and sat down next to him with Arion on her lap.
The servants soon served tea to their king and queen. Then they served orange juice to Eric and strawberry milk to Hana. They weren't allowed to drink too much tea yet because they were too young.
Eric sometimes gets bored with milk, so he asks for juice instead. Hana likes milk as long as it has a different flavor every time she drinks it. She would give this award to her favorite maid, Nova!
Then they served a variety of cakes and cookies to the table, and some more bitter cookies for Arsen. He had never been a fan of sweets.
Natalie drank her tea quietly and ate the cakes. Arion sat quietly on her lap and waited for his milk. The twins had started eating early.
"Dad?" Eric called hesitantly, looking at Arsen who was enjoying his tea quietly. He also enjoyed his juice while waiting for his father's answer.
"Hm?" Arsen murmured as he put down his teacup and looked at his son with full attention.
Eric continued hesitantly, "What exactly were you talking about before? You are being weird."
"Really?" Natalie gave his son a confused look. She hadn't noticed that their behavior was weird before. She thought it had become a normal thing for her.
Hana nodded in agreement, "Very strange!"
Maybe the sudden hug from her mother wasn't strange. But their speech and their atmosphere were a bit strange. Neither of them had listened to their parents' conversation, so they had no idea what was going on.
Arsen sipped his tea quietly before he asked back, "Do you miss your friends?"
They both looked at him in surprise, "They're coming here?" They asked at the same time. There was one tone that sounded happy, but there was another tone that sounded horrified.
Arion looked over, 'He changed the subject.'
"In a month," Arsen replied with an amused smile. He was looking forward to the second debate that would surely come soon. Let's just say that he needs this entertainment now.
"Why?" Eric asked dissatisfied. If that was true, then his peace would soon be over and a thunderstorm would come. His personal space would soon be invaded. Especially by certain noisy red creatures.
Unlike her twin brother, Hana was excited, "Really? I get to meet my prince!" She squealed happily. It had been a while since they had been together.
"He's not your prince." Eric snorted sourly in reply. He didn't want his only sister to have anything to do with the noisy red creature.
Hana stuck out her tongue, "He's my prince!" She retorted, not to be outdone. It looked like their argument would start again for the umpteenth time today.
"Does he?" Eric asked, his eyebrows raised in defiance. He began to question his sister's sanity. Why was she so interested in his noisy rival? He didn't understand. Was it because they were both noisy?
Hana replied confidently, "Of course! We'll get married in the future."
Arion gave her a horrified look, 'You're thinking too far into the future.'
Eric snorted dismissively, "As if he wants to marry you. You're not graceful at all." He mocked sharply, sounding merciless to the others listening.
Arion grimaced, 'That's a pretty sharp answer.'
"You're just jealous that you don't have a princess of your own!" She replied in the same mocking tone, unfazed by her twin brother's taunts.
Eric winced in disgust, "I don't need it!"
Just the thought of being as clingy as his little sister made his whole body shudder in horror. He flatly refused!
Hana ignored her twin brother's words, "It's been a long time since we've seen each other. I miss him so much. He's definitely become more handsome!" She continued dramatically.
She grinned as she saw Eric's forehead wrinkle deeply, a sign that his patience was about to run out.
Arion gave her an incredulous look, 'Are you sure you're still a little girl? You sound like a teenage girl.'
Although he never liked romantic movies, he often saw this kind of behavior from the girls in his class. One second they would be looking seriously at their cell phones, and the next second they would all be squealing so loudly that it almost broke his eardrums.
He had no idea what they were looking at. He just heard something like "He's my boyfriend!" or "Marry me!". Some even said, "I want to have children with him!". He didn't remember the rest. It was ridiculous just to hear them.
'Well, at least she wasn't completely serious. Maybe half serious, half just wanting to tease her twin brother and create another fight. How harmonious.' Arion thought positively.
In his heart, he also hoped that his older sister would not become like the obsessed girls in his class. That was a nightmare for him.
"Wait, doesn't he also have a baby brother?" Hana's sudden question made her twin brother look at her in surprise.
"Indeed. We even attended their celebration party." Eric replied calmly. He forgot their argument and breathed in the fresh air around him. It helped him calm his nerves and think clearly.
Natalie whispered to Arsen, "They forgot their original question."
Arsen sighed, ''Let it go." Natalie just chuckled amusedly.
"So we both have baby brothers, huh," Hana said faintly. Her initial enthusiasm was gone. She suddenly became as calm as her twin brother.
"Yes."
The two of them were daydreaming with a blank expression that made Arsen and Natalie worry. The servants and knights who watched from a distance also began to worry when they could no longer hear the twins' bickering.
Even Arion looked at them worriedly, 'What's wrong with them? They've suddenly gone quiet.'
They were silent for a moment before they looked at each other sharply. Both of them clenched their fists. They nodded at each other as if they understood each other's thoughts.
"Our Arion is the best!"
"The best of the best!"
Arion felt his sweat dripping, 'What exactly were they thinking?'
