It had been two weeks since Arion had been reborn into this world. In that time he had gotten used to his baby body.
Drinking milk, sleeping a lot, pooping, he was not as shy as the first day. But he still refused to be breastfed directly by his new mother. And he was going to keep it up forever.
He also unexpectedly managed to get some important and general information. He honestly didn't expect to get it so early. But someone gave it to him voluntarily.
Arion lay in his cot. He had just woken up a few minutes ago. There was no sign of Natalie and Nova anywhere. So he took the opportunity to think seriously without distractions.
Since he couldn't sit up, Arion had to content himself with thinking while lying down. He couldn't even write down all the information he had gotten.
'Let me review the information I have gotten so far.' Arion took a deep breath to calm himself.
'My name is now Arion, the second prince of the Kingdom of Gewitter. The youngest of three siblings. My appearance is a reflection of my mother, except that my hair is black at the ends.'
By now he had also gotten used to being called Arion. Although his former name was almost identical to his current one, it didn't make things easy. He had to adjust with great difficulty.
'I have two siblings and they are twins. My brother is the eldest and his name is Eric. He was the first prince and crown prince of the kingdom of Gewitter. My sister is the second eldest, her name is Hana. She is technically the only princess in the kingdom of Gewitter.'
This was the first time that Arion had siblings, so he also had to get used to them. Especially getting used to calling them brother and sister. There was no way that Arion would call them by their name directly. It's rude, and he might be suspected.
Eric's appearance is like a reflection of Arsen, there's almost no difference between them. On the other hand, Hana physically looks like Natalie and her eyes look like Arsen.
Arion's forehead furrowed in confusion, 'But I don't know who she inherited her golden hair from.'
He just shrugged indifferently. Although her golden hair was unique, he didn't think much of it. It could be that Hana got her genetics from her grandparents or other ancestors.
'My father was a king of the kingdom of Gewitter, his name was Arsen. And my mother was his queen, her name was Natalie.'
Arsen had black hair like his first son and golden eyes, which he passed on to the twins. Natalie had long white hair and soft red eyes, which she passed on to Arion.
All this information makes Arion uncomfortable. He used to be just an ordinary kid with hardly any money. He had to work hard to earn it and could not even rely on his parents in the slightest. They were the ones who relied on him for money.
But here, as a prince, he could earn as much money as he wanted. He didn't even have to work as hard as before. This made Arion feel out of place. He doesn't feel he deserves this whole life.
Arion's forehead furrowed as he realized something, 'No offense, but their natures look completely opposite. Like a demon and an angel, especially since their hair colors are also opposite.'
Arion could imagine his father having demon wings, synonymous with black, and his mother having angel wings, synonymous with white. He grimaced and focused again.
'The name of this kingdom is Gewitter. Since the name of the kingdom and my last name are related, technically my last name is Gewitter, Arion Gewitter.'
Arion nods in agreement, 'Not bad.'
The kingdom of Gewitter is one of the four great kingdoms that exist today. Their kingdom is symbolized by lightning or thunderstorms raging in the sky. No wonder that most of the warriors or mages of this kingdom possess Lightning Magic.
In general, lightning magic is yellow. But the royal family can use lightning in a color that suits their personality and talent. Their lightning is also more powerful than the typical yellow lightning.
A person will get their magic manifestation at the earliest when they are 6 years old and at the latest when they are 10 years old. But there was a special case where there was a child who got his magic at the age of 5. But until now, it is still unknown what caused it.
Most people are worried about this, especially the side effects. If a child who is too young gets their magic, the fear is that their body will not be able to withstand it. It could even lead to death.
But since such events had been very rare so far, most of them had forgotten about it over time.
Arion stopped his thoughts when something suddenly occurred to him, 'I won't suddenly get stung when I get my magic in the future, right?'
He shuddered in horror at the thought. As a user of lightning magic, did that mean that he was immune to lightning strikes? So far, he had not found an answer to this question. And that made him uneasy.
Arion could only sigh, 'It's not like I'm going to get it anytime soon. So I guess it doesn't matter for now.'
He remembered again and that was the only information he had gotten so far. It wasn't very satisfying, but at least now he's not too unfamiliar with his new life.
'I have to thank my new father because he's the reason I'm able to get so much information.'
Arion remembered the day well. It must have been a few days ago.
"Arsen! What are you doing?" Natalie asked in a high tone. Her expression showed disbelief at what she saw in front of her.
Arsen was holding Arion on his lap on the sofa in their room. He offered to watch their youngest son while Natalie looked after the twins because he wanted to rest for a while. But when she returned, her face looked unbelieving and a little upset.
He looked at his wife in confusion, "Invite Arion to read?" He replied, which was more of a question. He didn't know why it seemed to bother Natalie. Isn't reading a good thing?
Arion looked at him nervously, 'What she means is exactly what book you read to me.'
The book in his father's hand was very thick. He would not be surprised if there were more than 1,000 pages in it. And he could easily lift it with one hand while holding him with the other hand. This man's hand strength was incredible.
Natalie was dumbfounded by his answer, especially after she knew what book he was reading, "Arsen! Arion is not even a month old and you're already reading him heavy stuff like the history of the kingdom? Are you kidding me?"
Arsen blinked his eyes, not understanding, "Is something wrong? I'm also reading about our family."
"That's not what I meant!" Natalie let out a long groan.
She let out a breath to calm down before she faced her husband again, "Arion is still a baby, Arsen. This subject is too much for him to understand."
Arsen looked at her blankly, "Really? I remember doing the same to Eric and Hana too." He said casually as if he hadn't just nearly given his wife a heart attack.
Arion grimaced nervously, 'You're so messed up.'
Silence for a moment, Natalie stared blankly at her husband who still looked clueless. The next second, a frustrated scream echoed through the room.
"I never knew about that!"
Arion sighed wearily as he remembered the day. In short, the day was very chaotic. He didn't know what happened after that because his mother had given him to Nova and asked her to take him as far away from the room as possible.
But the few facts Arion knew were that Natalie had scolded Arsen and even dared to hit him over the head with the thick history book to restore his sanity.
How did he know that? Let's just say he saw his mother carrying that book and his father had a big lump on his head that wasn't there before.
'I have to admit that reading books is too hard, especially for babies. Luckily my soul is partly 17 years old, so I can handle it.' He thought with relief. He was thankful that his teenage mentality still worked.
Back to the topic, fortunately, since his grandfather's time, the four great kingdoms had an alliance. Although the alliance is relatively new, the relationship between the kingdoms is currently very close.
The reason is that the current kings and queens have been friends for a long time. Now it's time for them to pass it on to their children.
'But I feel like something is off.' He thought uncertainly. The more he thought about it, the more it was as if there was a fog covering something that he didn't understand what it was.
Arion couldn't help but feel that he was missing something important. He just didn't know what it was.
