As we arrived at the stadium guards double checked if I was injured and when they realized I was just spent a needed some rest they let us in and told us that room opposite to room with generator was cleared for us and that we could use it.
We thanked the teacher and entered the room. Brook quickly prepared a sleeping bag for me and I went to sleep. I needed to sleep, that long and intense fight where I could not afford any mistakes took a toll on me. After two hours of quick sleep, I woke up and spent rest of the day with Brook and Karla.
Jessica joined us for dinner and we had a nice chat after dinner. At the end of which she was quite unceremoniously kicked out by Brook, by saying her something that it was for us time to have a nice quick good night fuck and sleep. We didn't go over board this time and made it quick since it was a long day. During this whole time, we didn't even look at our notifications, neither we checked status or loot. We just wanted to unwind and relax a bit.
We had a big surprise in the morning when we woke up. At first it looked as any other morning, we woke up and I kissed the girls and when we were about have a breakfast and check our spoils from the fight it happened. We heard a female voice from nowhere.
"You are surprisingly casual about what you just did. I thought I will find you checking out the loot and status the moment you were able to but you just relaxed and had good time yesterday."
We all spring to action quickly. All three of us prepared our weapons and assumed battle ready stance. Then I spoke.
"Who are you? What do you want?" I spoke.
"No need to worry. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done so already." Female voice spoke and a moment after that an oval shaped phenomenon similar to one that was on the sky when this started has appeared in front of us. The only difference being that this one was oval shaped and had the size of a person. Not long after then phenomenon appeared a beautiful woman with light blue long hair and eyes with white flowing dress stepped out.
"What are you doing here? Who are you?" I spoke.
"Relax I promise I will explain everything and answer all your question. Just please first answer two to three questions of mine. I promise I will satisfy your curiosity about me and will even explain what is going on with your planet. Deal?"
I quickly glanced at Karla and Brook. They nodded. This looked like a rare opportunity to get to know what the actual fuck happened just for answering few questions.
I looked towards the woman and nodded. "OK, ask away!" But I didn't lower my guard.
"OK then. Thank you. First question is. Do you plan on conquering this planet and rule it as an absolute overlord? You would get huge benefits if you were the sole overlord of this planet."
"No, I don't plan on playing conqueror and I don't plan on being any overlord. I just want to find my family and family of my girlfriends and make sure they are safe."
Woman smiled and nodded. "Good. Second question: If somebody offered you that once you reached a certain level you would be able to move to a planet that has no random monster running around and is perfectly safe for your family. You would be taken care of and live in luxury. You would be able take all the people that are dear to you with you, but you would be required to train and develop your talents together with everyone that you take with you that breaches this threshold. And before you ask everybody that does not want to fight can stop before this threshold it is not a thing you will breach so easily without knowing. In terms that are easier for you to understand you would be joining a rpg guild and you would be able to enjoy all the member benefits but you would have to work for the guild. What would you say?"
I froze for second, I had to digest the information. First thing that came to my mind was to call this bullshit and send the woman to hell but then I remembered that way she came here and fact she knew what we were doing last day despite never seeing her before. I decided to give her a benefit of a doubt and turned my head to girls.
When they saw me turning both of them smiled and nodded. Once I saw that I turned back to the woman that was patiently waiting for my response as if she knew that what she just told takes a little moment to digest and I spoke.
"Sure, I would take it any day."
Woman smiled once more and nodded. "Just give me moment I have to do something before you can ask anything you want and I will explain everything."
She looked up and spoke. "I confirm my selection!" The moment she spoke those words she got enveloped in white light for a second and after that an old sounding male voice spoke.
"Selection confirmed!"
She smiled and looked back at us. "Now it's your time to ask so go ahead. But before you start sorry for my rudeness, I didn't introduce myself. But I had good reason for that, before I confirmed my selection I had just limited time interacting directly with you so I had to act quickly. My name Anabell Greatshow. You can call me Annie." She did a little curtsy as she introduced herself.
"Hello Annie, my name is Victor Withworth, you can call me Vic. Let's start from the beginning. What are you? And while you are at it you may as well tell why are you here?"
