Sorry fell asleep. Now where was I? Oh right Janet and that frost giant
As I rolled out of the truck I turn just in time to see the giant gets its skull caved in. My truck hits the ground rolling as it was totaled
"Jotun defeated. Calculating exp gain" my system says as the jotun, as it called the creature, began to fade and break into small blue particles that my system screen absorbed
"They're gone. They're gone. The kids are gone" Janet wonders around her yarn. She has a far away look in her eyes.
"Janet. What happened" I grab her shoulders and look at her. She doesn't seem aware of my presence
"Alert. Subject appears to be in shock but uninjured. Recommended action. Use rest skill" my system spoke after I grabbed Janet
Almost instinctively i say "rest". My hands on Janet's shoulders glow slightly as Janet goes limp falling into my arms. The skill rendered her unconscious
I lift her up. It was surprisingly easy. I bring her inside what remained of her house. She did like I had and put everything in her inventory.
I bring a bed from mine and lay her on it before going to the bathroom. I shut the door and turn on the light.
The moment I looked at the mirror I jump in shock yelling "HOLY SHIT!"
