The girl's eyes glowed in the sunlight as her visage caught my attention, making me realize how beautiful she was.
Instantly, I reverted back to my shy and introverted self and I felt awkward, blinking a few times before averting my gaze in embarrassment.
I found myself speechless as I blushed, not expecting the girl to be so attractive.
Her anxiety melted away when she noticed my reaction and she quickly ran up to me, her voice high and sweet as she proclaimed, "You're my hero!" I was taken aback as I felt her petite body press against my chest, with her large breasts pushing against me. I was slightly flustered by the situation.
She released me from her grasp and stepped back. She then looked up at me and asked, "So, what's your name?"
I was shocked by her forwardness and my face turned red as I stammered out, "I-I-I'm Kurai." She smiled and nodded as if she was happy to hear me say my name. My heart started to race as I felt her gaze upon me, so I shyly looked away and blushed.
She stated her name as our hands met, "My name is Elaine Kamano."
She then inquired as to why I had been able to survive that deadly attack and where I had originated from. I explained to her the entire story, from my reincarnation to the fact that I had an innate ability of immortality.
"So not only have you been summoned by the Goddess of Life, but you're also incapable of dying?"
I gave a little smirk of satisfaction as I scratched the back of my head and confidently declared, "Pretty much!"
Her face beamed with joy and she yelled out in delight, "That's amazing!" She grabbed my hands and asked with enthusiasm, "You have to visit my hometown! My parents would be so pleased to meet my hero!"
I'm completely in the dark as to how to reach Fuvolius. Going with this girl might be a good idea as she might be able to help me get the knowledge I need. She seems to be my age and I did come to her rescue, so I don't think she's trying to deceive me, right?
I nodded slightly in agreement, "Yes," I answered.
She let out a joyful cry as she clasped my hand and started to take me towards her village. "This is going to be so much fun!" she exclaimed.
Still, it seems unusual that in a desolate desert with nothing but scorching heat, two men had captured a beastly female in an area known to harbor many monsters.
Even more peculiar is how she quickly adapted to her captivity and forgot about the situation she was in, and now she is willingly welcoming a stranger to her village with complete faith.
As I trailed behind the girl as she was strolling, I noted her pure and charming demeanour and thought to myself, "I must be imagining things after having been surrounded by so many callous people."
After spending an entire hour walk, we exchanged brief conversations, and I found myself mostly talking about my former life and my thoughts on reincarnation. However, I didn't feel comfortable enough to mention how I was bullied and was a social reject in my past life.
I'm amazed that my body is doing so well on this trek through the dessert; I haven't even broken a sweat or gotten tired yet. I guess that's one of the perks of my immortality.
In addition to that, Elaine was performing quite well. She did take a few deep breaths occasionally and at times she lagged behind a bit, but other than that she was able to keep up with the fast pace. "She's got amazing endurance," I mused.
I gazed at her animal-like features and realized, "She must be related to animals, and from the way she looks, it appears she could be from the wolf species," I mused.
((Another 30 minutes of walking))
"We're here!"
Elaine shouted with joy as she looked at the large desert settlement that was visible from where we were standing.
Elaine whirled around to face me, her eyes sparkled as she said, "This is where I come from Kurai, this is my home."
It was a sight to behold, with its large sandstone buildings adorned with intricate artwork and the bustling marketplaces filled with the smell of spices. The sun was setting, casting a beautiful orange hue across the desert landscape, and the feeling of peace and contentment filled the air. Elaine couldn't help but smile; she was finally home.
I was transfixed, unable to move, as I was overwhelmed by the incredible sight before me. I couldn't believe something like this existed and finally managed to say, "This is something that could never have happened back in the modern time."
Elaine started sprinting towards the village, yelling for me to come after her.
I ran after her, calling out, "Wait up!" as she raced into the village.
As I strolled through the entrance of the village, I was astonished by what I saw.
Prior to arriving at the village, there was a large, square-shaped wooden sign that indicated the name of the town, 'Tottori Village.' Although the sign was a bit antiquated, it served its purpose.
Four guards were positioned at the entrance with steel spears and swords, while wearing full suits of iron armor from head to toe. They stood in a line, holding their weapons in a steady, unwavering grip, ready to challenge any monsters who dared to enter the castle.
The short walls of the village were imposing and made of sturdy stone, with towers that rose above them, giving it a majestic look. The four guards standing at the entrance were the first and last line of defense against any threats.
As I arrived in the village there were a diverse range of inhabitants including regular humans, dwarves and a variety of creatures with human-like characteristics.
The most interesting thing was that there were different types of humans in this village, some with unusual features like pointed ears and horns, while others were more like regular humans. Many of the dwarves were also quite unique, with some of them being short and stout, while others had long beards and were muscular.
Along the side of the path, there were vendors, merchants, and stores. They were all bustling with activity, the merchants shouting out their wares and the customers milling around, haggling for the best deals.
The sounds of laughter and conversation filled the air, and the aroma of fresh food, spices, and incense perfumed the air.
After glancing around, I noticed Elaine. It appeared she was accompanied by two adults near a house situated not far away.
"Kurai, Over here!"
Elaine yelled for me, so I made my way to the house.
Behind Elaine was a female in her thirties who seemed to bear a striking resemblance to Elaine, with the same greyish wolf-like fur and wearing a pink dress that looked a bit outdated.
Next to the female was a tall, somewhat intimidating man, though his demeanor was friendly. His body was muscular and bulky, and instead of resembling a wolf, he had cat ears and a very fluffy tail.
Elaine gestured in my direction and exclaimed, "Mom, Dad, this is the person who rescued me!"
Her mother approached me with a warm, pleasant expression. She took my hands in hers and said gratefully, "Thank you for helping my daughter."
The father had a smile on his face as he said, "We would have been lost without her!"
I responded in a modest way, saying, "It was nothing."
I was filled with a sense of accomplishment, but I didn't want to come across as boastful or overly proud.
The father gave my shoulder a pat and said, "Nonsense! Let's celebrate your success by making you some dinner tonight!"
I lifted my arms, not wanting to be a spoilsport. "No, no, its really fine!"
Elaine embraced me, her voice full of conviction as her eyes widened and twinkled, making her look even more adorable.
"Comon, just a little dinner," she pleaded.
As she pressed her torso against mine, my pulse started to quicken. My face flushed and my mind began to wander.
I exhaled softly and reluctantly replied, "Okay, I guess dinner would be alright." I was frustrated with myself for giving in so quickly.
((12AM))
As I lay on a bed, cushioned by a mattress, fluffy pillows and a white sheet, I couldn't help but think, "Maybe reincarnation isn't so bad after all."
After I had accepted the invitation to dine with the family, I was treated to a meal that was exceptionally delicious. Such a tasty experience is rare encountered in my past life.
The family welcomed me warmly and showed me around their home. The living room was cozy with a large couch, several armchairs, and a fireplace. The walls were covered with framed photographs of the family's travels. The kitchen was modern and the family seemed proud to show me their stainless steel appliances.
We had a wonderful dinner together and the conversation was lively. After dinner, the family showed me to my room and I thanked them for their hospitality.
"Going through this has really overshadowed all the struggles I've faced in my life before"
I was in the middle of pondering quietly when Elaine abruptly shifted the curtains that was hanged up in the entrance of the room and began entering inside.
As she passed by the furniture, wardrobe and stack of books in the corner, she asked in a gentle voice, "Is the bed comfortable? I made sure it was ready for you."
The darkness of the room made it difficult for me to make out her features. She carefully stepped onto my bed, and as I focused my gaze on her, I noticed that she was wearing a pink bra and a sheer piece of lingerie.
"Elaine, you're half naked!"
I quickly pull my hands over my eyes in panic, as Elaine slowly climbed on my body. "Do you like it? I did it just for you," she whispered in a suggestive manner.
She took away my hands that I had put on my eyes, saying softly, "It's okay, you can look."
Her voluptuous bosom seemed as if it could burst through her bra, and her curvaceous figure was even more stunning without clothing.
My cheeks flushed and my pulse raced as she gazed at me and inquired, "Have you ever done it with someone before?"
I nervously bobbed my head no.
She pressed her lips against mine, her touch gentle and tender. She said, "Good, this is also a new experience for me."
