เรื่องราวเริ่มต้นด้วย "ภู" (ภูกานต์) เด็กชาย ม.5 จากต่างจังหวัดที่ได้รับทุนมาเรียนที่กรุงเทพฯ. ภูรู้สึกว่าตัวเอง "ธรรมดาเกินไป" เมื่อเทียบกับเพื่อนร่วมชั้นที่มีความสามารถโดดเด่นและฐานะทางบ้านที่ดี. เขารู้สึกกดดันกับการพยายามเป็น "คนเก่ง" ตลอดเวลา. ภูได้พบกับ "ทีน่า" (ธีรดา) เด็กสาวสายศิลป์ที่ชอบวาดภาพและไม่ค่อยพูดเรื่องครอบครัว. ทีน่าเป็นคนพูดน้อยแต่ใจดี. ภาพวาดของทีน่ามักจะเป็นภาพเหนือจริงที่สื่อถึง "ความรู้สึกที่พูดไม่ได้" และความสัมพันธ์ที่ไม่สมบูรณ์ในครอบครัวของเธอ. อีกคนหนึ่งคือ "แบงค์" (ธนพล) เพื่อนร่วมห้องของภูที่ดูร่าเริงและเป็นที่รักของทุกคน. แต่ภูได้เห็นแบงค์ร้องไห้อย่างเงียบๆ ใต้สะพานลอย เพราะความกดดันและความคาดหวังสูงจากพ่อที่อยากให้เขาเป็นหมอ. เหตุการณ์นี้ทำให้ภูเข้าใจว่าแม้แต่คนที่ดูแข็งแกร่งก็สามารถร้องไห้ได้. ทั้งสามคนเริ่มสนิทกันมากขึ้นและเรียนรู้ที่จะเข้าใจความเจ็บปวดที่ไม่มีคะแนนวัดได้. ภูเริ่มตั้งคำถามถึงความหมายของการเป็น "คนเก่ง" และความฝันที่คนอื่นคาดหวังจากเขา. ในที่สุด แม่ของภูเข้าโรงพยาบาลกะทันหัน ทำให้ภูต้องเลือกระหว่างการสอบชิงทุนไปต่างประเทศกับการกลับไปดูแลแม่. เขาตัดสินใจกลับลำปาง และแม่ได้บอกเขาว่าเธอไม่ได้อยากให้เขาเป็นคนเก่งที่สุด แต่แค่อยากให้เขาไม่ต้องลำบาก. เรื่องราวลงท้ายด้วยการที่ตัวละครทั้งสามคนได้เรียนรู้ที่จะยอมรับและเข้าใจตัวเองมากขึ้น โดยตระหนักว่า "การไม่รู้จะเดินทางไหน" ไม่ใช่เรื่องแย่เสมอไป แต่อาจเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการเป็นตัวเองอย่างแท้จริง.
