After weeks of walking she was very tired her stomach hurted for not eating properly, but she couldn't help. She had been eating some herbs she would find on her way.
' You know it is not hard for me to hunt some rabbit, I can smell them' said Tera, she was a dragon that used Alana as a host.
'I already told you, to stop that, people were scared of me and called me monster because of that, we will survive eating these herbs' Said Alana.
She has been caring this Dragon inside her since she could remember, she doesn't remember when but since a long time the dragon is been connected to her soul. When she lost consciousness Tera would take over and protect Alana from anyone who would try to harm her.
Tera was a Dragon, she was weak when she met Alana, her link was strong that she couldn't fight to stop her souldbound to Alana.
'tsk, you know how boring and bland those herbs are ? You are already using my power to move forward.' Said Tera annoyed. 'you know I could easily take over and we would be have alot to eat.' Said Tera pround of herself.
'I know , I know just bared a little longer, we will enter soon the frozen Lands there is alot we don't know about that place.' Alana was not very strong physically she could only count on Tera to fight off strong enemies, she had her bow just in case she would need to shoot anything. Hunting right now would waste energy they would probably need in fronzen Lands.
Looking forward she could see the frozen way, the snow was covering everything, nothing but white could be seen.
She was definitely a contrast in that place, her clothes weren't warm but having a soulbound dragon was a plus to remain warm.
Her mahogany skin contrasted with the snow around her. Even though she was covered you could see her mahogany brown face stick out of her jacket.
'that uncle of yours could at least spare a few winter clothes for you, that little human...' said Tera disdainful. ' if only you would let me, I would relieve his shoulders of that head of his'
Alana just smiled, she knew Tera was always making a great effort not jump on her uncle neck.
'let's keep walking faster is getting dark we need to find a place to sleep.'
Tera felt her sorroundings to sense if there were any danger and a place they could rest.
Before Tera was done, Alana moved in a defense position, her protective sleeves were made of very strong material that couldn't be penetrated by any fang.
White wolf's from the frozen Lands were stronger and bigger than any other wolf. The problem was they couldn't be fought with a bow when they fight close range and in group.
'Well I guess dinner has arrived.' Smirked Alana.
Since they were far away from any town. There was no need to hold back. 'Don't hold back Tera'
Tera's heart filled with joy as she took over. 'Diners on me' Tera jumped so high it was almost like she was flying to reach the stars above, the White Wolfs looked confused, as they could hear the whining from their mates, but they were no longer around. Tera movements were fast and she attacked with precision.
They needed to be fast since it was cold and Tera could go dorment and hibernate due to cold temperatures.
Tera jumped while smiling and ripping the wolfs apart.
'To a new start! I love it in here ...' Tera heart screamed as she happily finished of the rest of the white wolf's that tried to run off.
After finding a place to rest and eating Tera began to feel sleepy, with full stomach she started to doze off.
"Tomorrow will be hard without Tera, to keep me warm. Good night Tera!" Said Alana, before dozing off herself.
Before the first sun rays broke through the sky Alana set off as early as she could she needed to arrive to her husband property before she would freeze to death or ended up being attacked by other animals.
With first morning rays Alana could see the state of her clothes bloodied by Tera last night euphoria.
'I can't go through town with my clothes like this.
I need to keep going through the forest to avoid anyone seeing this sorry state.' she thought to herself. It would take longer to go through the forest but if she wanted to start a new life she couldn't be going through town covered in blood.
