Chapter 1 - 1

Do you know who makes you suffer in pain? Your mind, your hell. Heaven isn't up above, it was all tricks of fools who perished. The people who made us blind, we become slaves of the dead people. That made the world hell and people fell in darkness.

She fears no darkness or chaos, she is the destroyer and the only heir of the eternal darkness. The only daughter of the supreme ruler.

Long years ago there was a war in which the powerful kingdoms fought against the demonic king to banish the ultimate Evil who wanted to become supreme Emperor. Most of the kingdoms were destroyed due to the war and only five kingdoms remained that were on the verge of giving up. The lost kings joined the forces of the Evil spirit to save themselves. Even the supreme Emperor was on the lost side due to the demonic possession of his people.

At the time kingdom of eternal darkness didn't join the war until the end. With the force of Destruction and chaos, the Supreme Emperor was able to kill the Evil King. Although the other Kingdoms resent the Ruler of darkness they weren't able to touch him. The emperor was pleased by the six kingdoms who fought until the end and gave them power while banishing the rulers of other kingdoms. And that's how the Supreme Six kingdom was formed. The Ruler of darkness didn't care and left them.

The future heir of the demonic kingdom was able to establish themselves again as a seventh powerful kingdom after providing aid to the Emperor and winning the hand of a princess from the next generation. They were accepted by other kingdoms because the evil spirit was already demolished, that's why they thought. The King of Darkness didn't indulge further in their affairs.

Each year the supreme Evil spirit returns in different forms and different bodies but the six kingdoms and the Great Emperor vanish before it harms anyone.

Once in year, a great tournament is held for the Emperor and whoever wins it becomes the Emperor's closest Aide. Everyone participates but only one is the winner rest are allowed to serve in the military. The Aide is the one who guides the Emperor and his kingdom prospers most. It was a game of power nothing else.

This is the story every heir of seven kingdoms had heard. They were trained to win it from a young age for the tournament. The kingdom of eternal darkness never played this game. They never cared because, in the end, they were powerful enough to stand against anyone.

Jade had heard this story since she was young. It was boring to her from the beginning, she was only interested in proving herself as a good leader. But today she is grateful that her father taught her about the Evil spirit well. The scene in front of her must have been done by the Evil.

Entering the territory outside of her kingdom she felt it, the thousands of eyes watching her. She halted sensing the Evil spirit. Her palm rested on her sword ready to fight if necessary. A huge shapeless spirit attacked her, Jade pulled out her sword activating her mana. The darkness enveloped her as she blocked the attack of the spirit.

Sword of eternal darkness. She muttered activating her attack.

Jumping back and ducking the attack she slashed the evil spirit, only to curse herself realizing the spirit splits into two. She blocked their attacks while forming a mental plan.

"Sword of the destroyer." She whispered and killed the evil spirit.

Raising the darkness she enveloped them in her power reducing them into nothing. Putting her sword back she walked further away into the forest.

She found a boy similar to her age just taller who banished the spirit when she reached him. Jade paused when she noticed his strong presence. An unknown mysticism stirred inside her. Jade realized that the person had a strong mana. He already noticed her presence. Her sweet fragrance hits his senses making him forget his mission.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Jade questioned with a stern glare. He glanced at her and paused for a while checking the girl who dared to stop him. He pulled out the royal seal and showed it to her. Jade's expression fell and a surprised expression covered her face.

"Zebulon. I came here for an inspection of the evil spirits. Now tell me, girl, are you helping this spirit?" He asked finally turning towards her.

"I am not. I came here to check the borders." Jade replied not concerned at all. In the end, people outside her territory are weak.

"There is only one reason I see you coming here, for feeding these evil spirits. Besides the people of the kingdom of darkness never step out." Zebulon pointed out that causing Jade to roll her eyes. Both of them know it's true but he doesn't know her identity.

"I know. But it doesn't mean I came here to contact evil spirits."

"Then what are you doing here?" Said Zebulon while pointing his sword at her neck. A blank expression falls on Jade's face. She sure can kill him right here but getting in trouble with Royals doesn't seem worth it. She raised her hands in surrender.

"Like I said I came to check the area because my king told me to do so." She said. Her father didn't order her, it was something she used to do since she was young. Unlike people in her territory, she has a huge wish to travel outside of her territory. No matter how beautiful her territory is, she wants more. Sadly her father won't allow her out.

Zebulon tilted his head and nodded. Even though he knows it can be false then again the threads had mesmerized him. He stored the mental image of the girl in his head, even though he knew he would bump into him due to the circumstances.

"Then show me the seal." He ordered her while the right corner of his lips twitched up. Jade sighs out in annoyance.

"I don't have one with me now." She replied.

"Then you are lying," Zebulon said making Jade impatient.

Should I just kill him? Jade asked herself. But then shook her head.

Before she can reply her gaze falls on the evil spirit behind Zebulon. He is distracted by jade not noticing its presence. Activating her powers she enveloped the spirit and killed it. Only then did Zebulon realize what had happened. He glances back and finds one more spirit attacking him but this time he banished it with his sword.

I should have been cautious. Zebulon thought to himself. When he glances back at Jade he finds her grinning mischievously. He raised his eyebrows.

"Since I saved you, you owe it to me," said Jade. Zebulon sighed knowing well this time he had to let her go. Life debt can be messy but at least she didn't mention it.

"Fine, you win. But if I found out that you are related to this thing then you have to meet Emperor." Zebulon warned her. Jade smiled brightly.

"Right. Since you are done get out of here." Said Jade.

Zebulon rolled his eyes but complied with her. He knows from the first glance that she is going to be a big trouble. But his lips twitched up. It will be fun, he thought giving one last glance at her and disappearing.

Once he was gone Jade headed back to her father the king of darkness. Using the portal she reached him finding him in the garden alone. No one would have thought that someone like him could enjoy the beauty of a garden and the brightest smile he had on his lips. Noticing his beloved daughter's presence Lucifer glanced at her with a soft smile.

"Welcome back kiddo." Lucifer greeted her.

"You were missing mother." Jade pointed out. Lucifer chuckled in response. No one understands him better than his daughter. Jade hugged her father and placed a kiss on his cheeks.

"How was your adventure?"

"I found the evil spirits almost near to our border. I banished them but there was this royal person, he was there for inspection. He thought I had something to do with it." Jaden explained.

"That's why you take the royal seal with you while you are going undercover." Lucifer scolded her and then added. "Evil spirits around our territory will lead blame on us, I will order knights to remove them."

"I will be checking further tomorrow in case I find something."

"Leave it on me, kiddo."

Jade nodded knowing well her dad was a bit overprotective. Then another thought invaded her mind. About the Zebulon and the incident.

"Dad, if the royals are inspecting the area then the Great Evil might be coming back," Jade asked after a while.

"Yes and no. The Emperor does it every year but it is possible too."

Jade nodded once again and soon both of them walked inside the castle. Meanwhile, a knight stopped them. With a bow, he handed his ruler a piece of document.

"Citizens have reported to find their missing children. One of them saw foreign people inside the neutral zone of the territory." Announced the knight.

A wave of concern was used on Jade's face. Lucifer gazed at the information troubled. Jade glanced down at the report. Ten children are missing and they can't be found in their territory.

"The finding of evil spirits and children missing must be related." Said Lucifer.

"Dad, allow me to find the people who took the kids away and investigate the matter," Jade asked her father hopefully. For once she wants to travel away. Lucifer glances at her daughter softly,  he does not want her to get tangled up with outsiders. He had seen and known well how evil they can be. But his daughter is old enough and strong. Lucifer nods after a while.

"I won't be able to stop you forever, so go on. And this time take the seal of the royal heir."

Those are the only words Jade needed, With a grin Lucifer and Jade left for their business.

The only question left is how will they be able to prevent further chaos, But then again they are the embodiment of supreme destruction.

Lucifer muttered checking the reports once again.

"True evil is within humans, the part of them that won't die. Until then great evil will exist."
