Chapter 24 - Rowan

As the night got darker and darker, Rivienne who was exhausted for no reason, continued to walk, leaping over the puddles that looked like portals to hell. A carriage led by a drunken man almost ran over her, yet the giggles inside were loud and clear. She didn't apologize to the other drunkard who bumped into her when she got away.

He shouted some foul words. Ignoring him, she walked to a back alley that led to the carriage house. 

She could feel the stuffy nose that screamed another deathly cold, and it could not smell the foul stink of the overflowing trash water. Her boots splashed them and continued to make the distance from the noise.

When she arrived there, Sir Jeremy was waiting for her already with a carriage. Taking her hands out of her pockets, Rivi entered the carriage holding Jeremy's gloved hand. "To the academy," Jeremy instructed the driver and sat across from Rivi who had a foulest mood after a long time.
