"I'll help you, my lord,"
Meera's forefinger slipped into the gap between the buttons. She could feel the feverish warmth she craved ever since she saw this man that came out of a painting. For a creature who was lower than an earthworm, her only way to become a human was to seduce a prince charming with her body and suck into his charm until it faded.
Not a single man could resist her allure. Yet her precious chosen one was a frozen stone. Sometimes, she wondered what happened to her greed that skinned men alive before she entered the academy. In front of this man, her greed had dried up, and something else was flaming within her.
Before she snapped the second button, Rowan grabbed her hand and tossed her down under his red orbs. Meera swallowed.
"On the way," He spoke. "If you were to see Bastian, tell him that if he doesn't show up now, I will leave him,"
Then he raised himself and walked to his chamber.
