Without looking back even for once, Rivienne ran and ended up in the labyrinth garden. The last night's drizzle had soaked the entire continent to the point the summer sun still could not get rid of the dampness on the grass walls. When she slipped, she stopped, barely balancing herself.
Rivienne looked back, panting like a dog.
What the hell is going on? How does the minister know where I was? Why would he come to meet even if he knew without a word? Why is everyone falling from the sky yelling my name? Who is that idiot who fell for such a blunt lie?
She leaned forward supporting her hands on knees still gasping for the air.
More importantly...
She looked around. Where was she?
It was green around her and blue above her. If she were a dear student who spent two years in the academy, she would know the way out of the labyrinth garden. But she was not.
However, she was confident that she had to disappear from the school by tonight.
