"Jayden..." he growled, the words coming out slowly, one at a time. "You...will...die..." He felt a deep hatred toward Jayden, but also a deep pain. It was like a searing wound, and it was only getting worse.
The pain tore through him like a physical blow, ripping his heart into pieces. It was a pain he had never felt before, a new and unfamiliar agony that threatened to consume him.
Leaving him in rage, confusion, sadness, and heartbreak. He was drowning in the torrent of emotions, unable to lash out, to take his pain and anger out on someone else.
"Morningstar, please calm down," Kofi said, as he took a step backwards. He had no idea what Morningstar had seen on the phone that had made his apathetic attitude change all of a sudden. But whatever it was, it wasn't good.
"There are people in this hall," he continued. "You have to keep your emotions under control." He didn't want to see Morningstar in such a state, he instinctively felt it was dangerous. But at the same time, he knew he had to be careful because one wrong word could set Morningstar off.
Morningstar's eyes were still fixed on the door, his jaw clenched.
He seemed not to hear Kofi as the phone slipped from his trembling hand, clattering to the floor. But he still didn't even notice, his gaze still fixed on the door as he took a step causing the tiles to crack beneath his feet. The dark mist kept swirling around him, faster and faster. His eyes shone with a yellow light.
It was like he was a different person, a darker version of himself.
Kofi could feel a dangerous aura from him.
Roar!
With a primal roar filled with hatred, Morningstar stomped his feet, sending shockwaves through the floor. Then, like a beast, he lunged toward the door with a punch as he intended to break through it.
The impact was tremendous. The door buckled under the force of the blow, groaning in protest. But it resisted, the metal bend but not break which made
Morningstar coldly snorted.
With dark energy crackling in his hand and his body thrumming with Qi, Morningstar felt stronger. Plus his Ferociousness skill had given him a boost of strength which doubled all his current stats.
With a thunderous roar, he struck out at the door again. Dark energy exploded from his fist towards the door. The metal door couldn't resist the force of the blow, and with a deafening crash, it was sent flying through the air.
The zombie who had just delivered the message and was staggering back was caught completely off guard. It had no time to react as the door, moving with incredible speed, slammed into it with a sickening crunch.
There was a brief moment of silence as the zombie was crushed under the weight of the huge heavy door, its body crumpling like an empty can and even its regenerative skill couldn't help.
Morningstar stared straight ahead and saw Jayden sitting on top of a huge crocodile-like beast. At the mere sight of him, he felt intense hatred which nearly blinded him.
Without a word, he shot forward towards Jayden.
"Jeez, my cousin is out to play. Listen up all of you... Aaaa-ttacccck!" He yells while pointing his bony spear towards Morningstar in glee.
Roar!
With a thunderous roar.
The cats with the wind element moved, leaving a blur behind, followed by zombies while the shadowy cats all vanished.

Kofi seeing Morningstar dashed into the midst of beasts couldn't help but take a deep breath from fear.
With curiosity, he looked at the phone which had slid to the edge of the hall due to the shockwaves and without wasting time he and the soldiers picked up the phone and saw the video which had made Morningstar go berserk.
The screen was cracked due to how Morningstar dropped it, which made it difficult to see, but Kofi and the soldiers were able to make out enough to know what had happened even though it showed only the waist downward. A woman's waist, barely clothed, was being grabbed and assaulted by one of the zombies. The scene was so graphic and disturbing that it made Kofi feel shaken.
Even the soldiers couldn't help but take a deep breath. Especially Jane, being a female she understands the feeling more.
She would rather die than to let those dirty creatures touch her and now seeing the video she understands why Morningstar went berserk.
_He might be related to that woman, one way or another._ She thought.
"Turn it off," he said, his voice shaking from anger as she took a deep breath. "We don't need to see any more."
One of the soldiers nodded and quickly turned the phone off, putting it on the ground. They all looked at each other, unable to speak.
"Are we gonna stay here or join Morningstar to kill that psycho being?" Kofi finally asked.
"For now, let's stay here and keep an eye on the situation," Captain Jane said. "My men are still recovering from their injuries, and we need to make sure they're safe before we do anything else."
But inside, she was thinking differently. She had seen how powerful Morningstar was and she wanted to see more. She was curious about his true abilities, and what he could do when he was pushed to his limits, especially in a berserk state. This information will be beneficial to the Earth Federation and if they find out he is strong, then it's either he joins them or they eliminate him as a future threat.
_Besides, it would be good if he exhausted himself. We can easily catch him._ She thought.

Meanwhile, Morningstar was moving forward at a fast speed but just then, there was a blur of movement as a cat, almost a meter tall, dashed toward Morningstar at incredible speed. Its claws glinted in the light as it moved, heading straight for his neck with the clear intention of cutting it off.
With no warning, Morningstar's fist shot out, covered in dark energy. It collided with the cat's claws with a resounding crack, and the cat's paw shattered, the bones breaking under the force of the impact. The cat was sent flying backwards, landing and not rising again.
Morningstar was about to step forward but he suddenly felt a shiver run down his spine. It was a warning, a sense of danger coming from behind him. He immediately rolled out of the way, but it was too late.
A shadowy figure shot out of his shadow, its claws striking right on his back, it was like it had long been hiding in his shadow and was waiting for perfect timing as it slashed across his back, tearing through his shirt and leaving four deep, bloody marks.
Morningstar was blinded by rage that he didn't care about the injury. He whirled around, ready to fight the shadowy figure, but it had already disappeared back into his shadow.
As the two fists collided, something unexpected happened. Morningstar's fist trembled from the strength of the zombie but he didn't move back.
The collision of energy created mini shockwaves that could pass as gentle breeze.
But that wasn't all. As the dark mist from Morningstar's hand made contact with the zombie, it seemed to come alive. It surged forward, enveloping the zombie in a matter of seconds. The zombie didn't even have time to scream before its energy and purplish mist were sucked away, leaving it a dried-out husk.
"..."
Jayden, who was eating an apple and watching the battle unfold, nearly choked on his apple. He coughed, unable to believe what he had just seen.
