Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: History Of Lucifer l

From the view of outer space, it was clear that this world was not Earth. Where Earth was a blue marble, dotted with white clouds and flecked with green land, this planet was a world drenched in crimson, a sea of scarlet that shimmered and flowed in the light of the distant purple sun. The surface was filled with black rocks and black or dark red sands. The planet's atmosphere was thick and oppressive, giving the entire world a dark, foreboding appearance.

Any knowledgeable person in the universe knows not to pass this place. Even the demigods who can use their bodies to fly through space would unhesitatingly take the longest detour just to avoid this place. Since the place is the home to the third most powerful vampire who also has a weird personality. In decades, he has made a name for himself by killing people over the tiniest disputes or for hurting his race even when it was one of his race members who started the fight. He didn't even hesitate to fly towards the person's planet and drain all living creatures' blood which made that planet to be abandoned for a while before a necromancer found it and used all those bodies to create armies of undead.

In a certain part of that world. Located in a secluded valley, lies deep in the mountains, its lush landscape filled with the tranquil aura of Taoism. Towering trees fill the valley but unlike Earth's own which was green in color, this place was totally red. Their branches arch over a rushing blood river. Red mist hangs in the air, clinging to the lush green foliage and the damp, moss-covered rocks. Strange red waterfalls pour down from the colossal mountains, their sound filling the air with a soothing rhythm. It is a place of peace and harmony, a place where the spirit can find rest.

A massive dinosaur looms over the horizon, its bulk towering over the trees and shrubs below. Its thick, scaly hide is covered in ridges and bumps, like a giant reptilian tank. Its long tail whips through the air, cracking like a whip. Its legs are thick and powerful, able to support its massive weight. Its head is large and broad, its neck long and muscular. Its eyes are dark and unblinking, surveying the land below with a cold look. The dinosaur is a true king of the prehistoric world, a juggernaut of pure power and might but in this world, it was nothing but a second-tier being.

Overhead, the pterodactyl soars around. Its massive wings outstretched and caught the wind. Although its body looks small, its wings are enormous, easily spanning several times the size of the creature's body. Its beak is long and sharp, perfect for catching fish and other prey. Its leathery wings flap gracefully as it glides through the air, searching for a meal. Its eyes are bright and keen, surveying the landscape below. In the sky, the pterodactyl is king but here it dares not boost so as even the griffin, a majestic creature, part eagle and part lion. Its feathered wings beat powerfully, propelling its body through the sky. Its lion-like body is covered in thick, golden fur, and its eyes are piercing and bright. Its eagle-like head is crowned with a sharp beak, perfect for tearing into its prey. The griffin's talons are long and deadly, capable of gripping tightly onto its prey. The griffin is a symbol of power and majesty, a perfect combination of two of nature's greatest predators but it also doesn't dare claim that position.

"Mmmm... Lucifer the Fallen Angel... is... back?" A soft, yet powerful voice filled the air, causing the beasts to react with terror.

The griffin and pterodactyl that were flying arrogantly through the air instantly descended to the ground, their bodies trembling with fear. Even the massive dinosaur, which had been so fearless, was cowering at the sound of the voice. It lay down, its head low to the ground, as if it were bowing in submission.

The power of the voice was undeniable, and it seemed to be emanating from the whole planet.

Following those words, another voice which sounded more feminine said, "I don't think 'HE' is still alive. Ten universal gods, 59,000 demigods and a Multiversal weapon were used to take him down at his weakest point so it's hard to believe he is still alive."

"... That's what I thought too, but have you forgotten? He is a fallen angel, any fallen angel that dies will have their souls return back to heaven and be cleansed before being reincarnated. For millions of years we haven't heard of him and the angels search everywhere for his soul but in the end, it wasn't found."

"Maybe the Multiversal weapon wipwipeds soul away?" She thought with fear, it was like the thought of Lucifer alone shook her to the core.

"Pft, don't be a silly girl. His body which was in the weakest state easily restood 5 blasts from the Multiversal weapon even when stars were destroyed and you claim his soul was disintegrated? I bet he might have reincarnated. From what I remember, he sealed the god of death and took all his power, while absorbing it, he fell into a weakened state which gave everyone the chance to kill him all thanks to thSage'sge prediction. But, have you ever thought he might have successfully absorbed it and used it to reincarnate?"

"That's impossible, right? If he could have, then wouldn't The Great Seer have seen him or Allheaven Sage?" She asked with doubt.

"Tsk, when the war happened you were still a toddler so I don't expect much. Lucifer, a being with 12 wings who could easily wipe out a universe. Create chaos throughout a multiverse with all his strength. He was the only Fallen Angel with such power. That was why 'HE Above All' had to send his clown to participate in the battle or else Lucifer would have survived."

"This is frightening. I think we should inform the ancestor about it," the female voice trembled.

"No, there's no need for that. From what I heard, the young Duke planted an energy into a world that has been granted permission to grow. I believe Lucifer will be there. Even though we cannot attack that world since it will be under protection for the next 50 years, we can still influence it by causing disasters to befall it, making them unable to keep up with the rapid growth of the world."
