Chereads / Lie for You / Chapter 34 - Darkrise

Chapter 34 - Darkrise

I teleported to the church. I was in the high priest room which was also my room in the church. I dyed my hair yellow and changed into my priest's clothes. The yellow of the robe matched my hair and gave me a holy aura. I walked out the room and I saw a familiar face in front of me.

"High priest you are out." Necoda Avner, the Bishop of this church called out to me.

"Yes, Sir I have come out to check on something."

"Is that so, then High priest Hael I hope that your job goes successful." He said, bowed and left.

My third identity is Hael the High priest of the church of hope who only comes out his praying room when the god of hope gives him some holy task to complete. Well it's all just lies and I barely came here but today it's different. I have to check the holy records for any abnormalities in the past three years.

I walked the holy halls and entered the record hall. I walked in and the priests inside greeted me. I nodded and walked over the recent books and documents. I browsed through them and checked each and every record.

It took me two hours and more than a few thousand documents to find what I was looking for.

"Date: day 11 of 245 phoenix year.

An unexplainable aura descending on one of the northern island. Causing immense problems to the environment, it took several days for the aura to subside and disappear.

Cause: unknow

Result of investigation: unidentifiable."

'Only ten days difference. Has hell really sent someone, I need to ask the god of tales or god of hope about this. If they truly have come then it's a mess turned all over again.'

I marched out of the room and headed to the praying hall. I entered and saw the massive statue of Hope in the center of the praying hall. I walked in front of a statue and got on my knees and took a praying posture.

"The hope that blooms like flowers,

the reason to live,

the will of the people stays strong,

as long as you exist."

I pray to the god of hope and extend the holy magic in my soul towards the realm beyond the skies and clouds. I heard the sounds of a bell and my heart felt pure. The feeling of purity and tranquility masked and innalited the feeling of fear and nervousness.

"What seemed to be the problem Milagro?" An ethereal voice rang in my ears. It was neither too loud nor too quiet, not too rough nor too smooth. It was sweet and stern at the same time.

But that was not the god of hope's voice, it was the voice of another god that I know. They are who was given the judgment for my punishment. I asked them in confusion, "God of tales, why are you at my father's office."

"He is currently meeting the Heavenly Emperor so he cant attend to you, also you don't have much time my child so make it quick."

Understanding the matter I skipped to the main topic "Has hell entered this world."

"What? Milagro this world is actually not supposed to be known by them."

"Huh? but I just found traces of them."

"..."

"God of tales didn't you send me here because this was an apocalyptic world."

"..."

"God?"

"Milagro I have to go, if I find anything I will contact you. Stay safe."

"..."

I opened my eyes not believing what happened. I sighted and brushed my face with my hands. I got up and left the church without anyone's notice.

'I can't really do anything about the Darkrise situation until I get confirmation from the heavens. So let's skip that and instead focus on dissolving this war situation because if the person who I think had climbed out of hell then I can't let such a chance of mass death occur.'

I walked inside the hero's manor and saw Jasper at the entrance.

"Is everything ok my lord-I mean Kaan, you looked pale when you left." He said as he nearned me.

"I am good, it was just something that came up and this and that." I explain in the most vague manner possible.

He stared at me in a doubtful way and narrowed his eyes on me.

"Come on go and bring me the grimoire of origins. It's a brown leader book with its name on it. You will find it in the library."

He sighed, nodded and left to find the book. After some time he came back with the book. He gave it to me and I opened it. It didn't have what I was searching for so I just placed it in my inventory.

"Let's head to the Mabuz manor."

"How are you doing Cardea?" I ask the half dead looking little sister.

"Piss off brother Remus." She grumbly replied.

"I met Brother Kaan today." As soon as I said that, her head shorted up and she said in a hurry "What did he say?"

I sighed and explained the plan my brother came up with to her. She sat back in her chair and put on her thoughtful face on.

"Should I ask father to reduce your work?" I asked in a concerned voice.

She shook her head and said "It's almost done and you know that I have to absolutely need to know what happens in this palace at all times. It's my duty while yours is to keep the king away and clear things up."

"I know but I am concerned about your health."

"Don't be, it's not your fault."

"I know but Dea please at least take breaks."

"I will, now shoo." She waved her hands and kicked me out of her office. I walk the hall and enter the king's office only to find it empty.

'He may be in a meeting, let's see what I can get my hands on today.'
