"We have to stop by the magic tower today." It was day two of us going back to Ravial. We had used the teleportation portal while going but since I had to visit Edward we decided to hit the road while coming.
I saw the driver nod from the side window and then closed it. Jas was in front of me dozing off probably because his biggest headache has been found and solved. I yawned because I myself have not been sleeping for some days and nights.
'Dragons are crazy; they can go without sleeping for a few weeks but they can also sleep for centuries.'
It was near two to three in the night and we arrived at the magic tower. I stepped down and somehow Jas woke up on his own and stepped down after me.
"Had a good nap?"
"Hmm." he answered in a slow murmur while rubbing his eyes.
I walked towards the tower by foot because carriages are not allowed past a certain limit. We stood in front of the door and I knocked on it three times. Two short and one long.
Under a second the mana around us fluctuated and we were teleported to a room. I looked around and saw the familiar scene.
'Déjà vu'
"My lord welcome back" Edwards screamed melodiously.
"What are you doing?" Jas asked the question we both were wondering.
"Baking cookies!" He replied enthusiastically.
"At three in the morning." Jas asked his confusion.
"Sorry that I am not as boring as you are dear shadow but this is a midnight snack session," he replied to Jas and then turned to me and continued "Why don't you take a seat my lord they will be ready soon."
I nodded and took my seat at the same spot as before.
'Let's stop questioning your team members all together Kaan.'
"Ed-" a cookie came to my mouth but this time I bet down on it out of survival instinct and ate the cookie. Jasper was the same as he sat beside me and chewed on his own cookie.
Edward came to us and said "They are honey and bananas this time."
"Hmmm good, they melt in your mouth and are so refreshing."
"They are also good for inducing sleep but I added something special that will help you sleep better and have a good dream my lord."
I blink slowly and then my eyes widen.
"You gave me sleeping cookies!!"
"Well yes since you clearly have not been getting enough." he said in a confused tone as if it was natural that he did this. Well for him it might as well have been.
"How was I not able to detect that?" I questioned as I bit down and finished the cookie.
"Well this room is filled with my mana and so are the cookies so maybe you didn't feel it because of that."
I nodded and then said "then I might as well take a nap."
"Yes I will send you to your room."
I turned to Jasper and he was wide awake unlike me.
'Seems only mine was drugged. Sleep is really catching up huh...'
My eyes closed and I drifted away.

Next day I found myself back in my room at Mabuz manor.
'Damn it Edward I wanted to tell you something.'
I lifted the blanket and put on my slippers and hopped out of bed. I opened the door and walked towards my study while yawning, still half asleep. I passed a hand through my bed hair and fixed my silk pajamas.
I entered the room, locking at the door behind me. I sat at the desk and pulled blank papers out. Taking the quill from its ink pot I started writing wills first thing in the morning.
"Dear Edward,
First thing first no matter what happened to me please always stay the same crazy way that you are. The moment I first saw you in the magic tower basement doing experiments with a numb look but with eyes that called for help I knew you would be my greatest man and closest friend.
I never once regretted saving you and making you my friend so remember no matter what anyone says you are and will always be my friend not a tool, not a slave but my friend.
I will not take long so here are a few task you need to do:
-Go to the Ice castle's basement treasury three and open the smallest door and the innermost section. What's inside is my gift for you and you are free to use however you want.
-Support Leia and all your friends ok.
-Don't fight with each other ok Ed and Ward.
-Always stay as you are and maintain the magic tower and the mage world.

After I found you in that war begging me to save you at the end of your life I knew you would be hard to handle and the most useful tool out there. Calling you a tool must trigger bad memories but as you said yourself you will be my tool whether I like it or not. So be it.
But remember in my eyes you are just a girl who loves collecting information and flaunting about that to us. Now Leia it's your job to be our most important piece so please forgive me and continue doing what you're best at.
But here are something you need to do:
-Be our eyes and ears.
-Go to the ice castle library and you will feel the book you need to pull. What you find afterwards is all yours.
-Distribute the remaining will after my actual death.

I closed the letter and wrote that she has to open the letter when she gets it. I tied the letters properly and stood from my chair. I went to the window opening and summoned the magic messenger. I gave it the letter and wills and sent it to Leia's way.
