Flint and Marie were walking back from their encounter with the Wendigo.
Flint was Following Maries every step and made a conversation to learn more about eachother.
He told Marie about The Natures Blessings he was "tasked" track down to cure his loneliness and his encounter with Gaia. Other than that, he knew not much else except that he "liked" Marie within first encounter of her beauty. But part of him feared that she wouldnt like him in that way due to them being two different species.
Marie on the other hand, was a traveler from the Metropolis of Xianton and wanted to find a purpose in her life and she left the town with a fellow traveler named Byron, and they left the Metropolis on Motorcycle until the found a path in the forest that led to the cabin that they decided to call home. She was also single and wished to find a nice guy but wants to be certain that she likes them first and vice versa.
They finally came to the Cabin, which was old and manageable. It had a small porch that showed a man, dressed in a tattered camouflage jacket and leather pants, with a older whippet dog sleeping by his side, as he was whittling a spear with a small knife.
"Hey Byron." said Marie.
"Hey Marie, who's this?" said Byron with a slightly graveled voice.
"This Is Flint and he is on a quest to find others like him, he claims they are "Nature Blessings" and i assume he wants our help, Right?" said Marie.
"That's right." said Flint.
"Nice to meet you Flint, I'm Byron and this is Stan" as Byron shook hands with Flint and pointed at the sleeping whippet.
"Come in, please" said Marie showing him inside the old cabin.
the exterior looked as clean as a old abandoned cabin could be, minus the abandoned part. The cabin had a small exterior and 3 doors that led to the bathroom and two bedrooms and a hatch to the basement.
"You are unfortunately gonna sleep on the couch tonight. but we will figure something out somehow. We never had guests in here before, so we are still new to this." said Marie in a sad tone.
"Its Ok, i am fine with this." said Flint.
"By the Way, dont go in the basement, no matter what you hear at night. especially at midnight. Ok?" said Byron in a serious tone, staring into his soul with his dark blue eyes.
"Ok." said Flint.
---------Later That Night-----------
Flint was fast asleep when he heard the creaking of the doors open and shut slightly and footsteps towards the hatch.
Flint opened his eyes slightly to see Byron and Marie whisper to each other. He couldn't make out much but did hear Marie say something about "not wanting Flint to know her secret".
He watched them both enter the hatch and shut it slightly.
He waited until it was quiet and slowly walked to the hatch and opened it to hear a clamp being shut or two.
He carefully climbed down the ladder leading into the dusty cubic room.
He saw a door in the midst of the darkness emit a crimson hue emerge from the opening at the bottom of the door.
He could hear screaming and moaning coming from the other side and he abruptly opened the door wondering what was happening.
He wish he didn't.
