Chapter 7 - A Cave Close Call

Our party of 6 walked through the forest after they left the cabin. Victoria led the way through a compass attached to her wrist.

They spent a day and a half traveling the woods until they stumbled upon a creek with a small cave and they noticed it was getting dark.

Flint and Marie knew that today was another of "those" days and Flint noticed her arm started twitching and she started cringing and trying to hide her "from" and Marie and Flint knew they had little amount of time before she turned full succubus.

Marie ran into the nearby cave and Flint rolled a massive boulder and she was closed in and then he heard her cackle.

He knew she had turned just in time.

Rhonda was drawing what she imagined Ramone would be like when he was turned into a human rather than a rat. It was crudely drawn but was hers.

Victoria and Tasha were fast asleep, the latter still in Amazon Orc form.

It was only him and Lou still up. Lou was staring up into a tall redwood tree with Flint watching behind.

He noticed Lou was crying.

"What's wrong?" Said Flint

"None of your business" grunted Lou in anger of being seen crying in front of Flint

"C'mon, tell me what's wrong" said Flint.

"Fine I will tell, I am just remembering that my sister and I loved watching the redwoods in our house whistle on the wind. We had a treehouse you see..in...those woods Hold on." Said Lou as she stood up and ran into the other woods past the cave.

In a few minutes deep In the woods, you could here a scream of joy and Lou shouted.

"FOUND IT HAHA!!!!!"

Flint was happy but didn't see Lou again for the rest of the night....nor the rest of the year.

---------------The Next Morning-------

Flint opened the cave to see Marie in her normal attire with a couple of scratches on her but it wasn't her that caught Flints Attention.

It was a mulltilated corpse of a brown bear with it's fur burning in a fire she had made that night.

He was surprised scared but happy she was still alive.

They all gathered around and was only missing Lou, they wanted to wait but Victoria was on a schedule for a search for her father's castle.

They matched into the woods.

But unknown to them, a Wendigo was holding a unconscious Lou and carrying her back to its lair.

It only had one eye.
