Flint opened the door in the basement without warning to witness something he wished he didn't know but just did.

Flint was awoken by a hand pressing against him and he opened his eyes to reveal that it was Byron, still in the same attire as he first met Flint.
"It's time to wake her up." said Byron.
Flint got dressed in a White Shirt with Blue jeans and proceeded to follow Byron back down in the basement. He could hear crying from The door that led to Marie. He also heard crying coming from the other side of the basement, only to see a bookshelf with dusty old books from any era in time.
He didn't pay it no mind at the time but only paid Marie's crying his full attention. They opened the door to reveal a small puddle of tears surrounding Marie in her torn velvet dress, Revealing less cleavage as earlier that night, she was scared but mostly upset at knowing Flint knows her secret without her telling him about it personally and not at that particular moment.
