The cameras are flashing onto Jayden's face. The media had all on him ever since his speech at the inauguration ceremony.
"Alpha, is it true that you are now turning down your pack's alliance with the Nightshade pack?"
"How about Livy? Aren't you two supposed to wed?"
"Are you sure about that? It seems that Ember feels the other way around towards you! Did she really walk out on you at the inauguration?"
Jayden opts not to answer the questions to prevent more conflict. Eros blocked the cameras. He forbade the press from taking shots and led Jayden out of the crowd.
"Guys! Hop in!"
It was Milena.
"Good thing you just arrived in time!"
Eros commented as soon as they both got inside Milena's car.
Milena drove as fast as she could away from the press.
While Jayden has been quiet the whole time. Eros and Milena exchanged glances as they noticed Jayden's mood.
