Walker moved up to the middle of the battle area with his hands raised as a way of stopping the noisy murmuring coming from the students.
Dean Elliot slapped the back of Martin's head, "Dumbass."
However, he could a strange feeling in his chest, he was somewhat proud of what this kid had done.
He hoped that one day he would see the boy stand up to huge Lords, and masters of cultivation with the same carefree attitude. Elliot couldn't wait to watch how Axton's life would finally turn out but first of all, the boy needed through this early stage of his life.
Martin rubbed the back of his head with pouted lips, and watched the Dean fly back to the highest level where the judges comfortably sat.
Walker moved forward to collect the judgement of the battle.
"Axton Zavier is declared winner of the match with a straight upgrade to the A-grade class, and Frey has been moved to the B class."
The students went wild with cheering. They weren't cheering for Axton though.
The reason for their cheering was due to the awesomeness of the match they had just watched.
The fight between the wind elements and fire elements had reminded them of why they had chosen this hard path which was to be able to fight, and protect the ones they loved.
Martin let out a wide grin as he walked out of the battle area while the students parted to avoid obstructing the new demon lord.
He was really a tyrant as they recalled the lingering fear they had felt when he held his ground against Sigrid Kian.
Martin was done with sticking around after he had won his battle, and achieved his goal.
He immediately walked up to Lance to wish him a good match but he wouldn't be able to stay and watch because he had a lot of things to do.
Martin walked out of the hall entrance, and he couldn't help but have an eerie feeling.
Someone was watching him.
Dergin stepped out of the shadows where he stood, and he looked at Martin with narrowed eyes.
He could now understand why his son had lost to such a mage but it was not enough for his boy to be crippled.
The both of them stared at each other for a while. No one made the first move, or said anything.
Dergin slowly smiled, a warning visible written across his face, and he walked away leaving Martin to his thoughts.
Martin couldn't care less about what an old man thought of him, he didn't even know the man, he just wanted to go home, and have some rest.
"I haven't eaten anything for two days!" Ace grumbled in anger when he saw Martin walk into the house.
Martin ignored him with the wave of a hand, and he collapsed into the bed.
"You know… I have never had the opportunity of tasting human flesh." Ace said.
"What the…" Martin immediately sat up, and stared at the toddler in front of him.
"Don't test me. I don't care about some puny humans, and I'd gladly eat someone if it would cure this unbearable hunger."
Ace gritted his teeth, and turned away.
"…" Martin's lips were pressed into a thin line, he didn't know what to say.
He grumbled, and stood up from his comfort on the bed before going to the kitchen area to look for something for the kid.
"It's empty. Everywhere." He was shocked.
This little glutton had emptied the house of every single morsel. He suddenly decided that he hated kids.
"Yes? I did what I had to do." Ace looked away as if what he had done was right.
Martin pinched the middle of his eyebrows. He had not gotten proper sleep for weeks because he had been training for the tournament.
"I need to sleep. When I wake up, I'll get you something delicious to eat." Martin sauntered into his bed.
"Promise?" Ace looked at him with beady eyes.
"Yeah, sure." Martin fell into a deep slumber.
His entire body was weak, and he overused it in his fight with Frey.
Trying to fight against Sigrid's aura was also tiring. Although, it has strengthened his body and mana core, it was still much of big task.
Meanwhile, in the Kian's family mansion. A boy stood in front of Sigrid Kian and his daughter, his emerald eyes, and auburn hair that has been fully combed back matched his princely appearance.
"It's an honor to be here, Master Kian." Frey bowed showing his full respect to both father, and daughter.
"Please child, call me Father." Sigrid said with a smile that didn't seem to reach his eyes.
"Ok Father." Frey nodded with a small smile on his face before he allowed his eyes to fall temporarily on Tana's body taking in her full beauty.
Sigrid cleared his throat to bring the boy's attention back to him.
"Why do you want to kill Axton? Don't lie to me child. I watched the match, and I saw the deep-rooted anger in your eyes."
Frey clenched his hands, and stared at the Kian's family head.
"I don't want to just kill him. I want him to suffer just like the way my cousin is suffering, and even worse."
Sigrid rubbed his hands on his chin with understanding, "Your cousin?"
"Yes.. Mas… Father. Axton ruined my cousin's life by crippling his cultivation. My cousin's name is Jin."
Tana took a sharp breath when she heard what Axton had done. She suddenly felt stupid, and wondered why she thought that boy was good for her.
He was evil if he could simply cripple someone without any hint of remorse. He must have enjoyed doing it to his fellow human.
"You want to avenge your cousin. I can help." Sigrid had a wide smile on his face. He was too old to teach that Axton boy a lesson, so he would just let his own mate do it with a little boost of course.
Frey bowed his head again, a sadistic grin on his face hidden from the eyes of the Kian duo, "I will gladly do anything."
When he raised his head back up, it was as if the smile was never there.
Martin felt a hot sensation on his face causing him to bolt up from his bed.
He had been having a wondrous dream, he was in charge of a freaking harem, and it was the best day of his life because it was his birthday.
"What the… Ace!" Martin rubbed his cheek to ease the pain he was currently feeling.
"Shut it. You deserve that." Ace growled at him.
"What?"
"You have been asleep for two whole weeks!" Ace yelled at Martin.
"Two weeks? What day is it?" Martin immediately jumped up from his bed. Why had he slept for so long?
Was it due to his training?
"Uhmm… First day of October." Ace said, sending a strange stare towards his so-called master.
"Oh. I still have six more days." Martin exhaled, before rushing to take his bath.
"I don't care. I'm hungry." Ace grumbled.
"Wait," Martin brought his head out of the bathroom, "I have been asleep for two weeks. What did you eat?"
"You don't want to know." Ace turned around, and went to sit on the bed.
