When one awakens, they would get an Innate skill, sometimes a Unique skill too. though it was rare that happens once in a while.
The problem was that I had no background and that bastard may end my life if he got wind of this information. That is why I have to keep everything a secret for now. Once I am strong enough, there wouldn't be much reason to keep information about my power a secret.
Sure I wouldn't leak everything about me, but just enough information to make others either respect me or fear me enough to not cause any troubles for me.
Speaking of those skills, except for the initial skills that one get during awakening which would be at maximum level, all other skills, no matter the rank would have levels.
Ranks can be increased only by using Upgrade Stones, but levels can be increased by using those skills every day.
One would start at the lowest level of a rank at which point, the skill would be the weakest and level up by training to the peak of that rank.
This was the usual procedure.
The thing that got me ecstatic was that there were no levels for the skills and also no rank for the skills I got through the blessing. I beleived that because I got those skills in an unconventional way, may be I would only get the base power but I was wrong.
It seems that I can improve the Rank of the skill as long as I loot the same skill during my hunt. The only problem was that it was not in my hands. It depends on my luck.
I can't choose the loot that I get from the monsters, it was totally random.
If not for a small amount of luck that I have, I may have taken a long to know that my skill rank can be increased.
On my way to the Vale, I faced a lot of Earth Element monsters and from them, I looted a single skill, [Earth Tremor].

[Earth Tremor (E): Spell used to cast tremors in the earth. The range and power of the tremors depend solely on the caster's energy input. The range and power are indirectly proportional, which means as the range increases, the power of the tremors reduces. Cost of Energy reduced by 5%]

Since I had [Earth Tremor] before it increased to E-rank. The benefit was the reduction in the cost of using the skill. It is only 5% now but I am sure that as long as I can reach S-rank, I think that it may change a lot.
For now, there is only a reduction in energy consumption, but there may be other changes by the time it reaches S-rank.
I actually hope so.
If there are more benefits than just reduction, then there would be no one happier than me.

Everything is well and fine but this improvement brings a new issue for me.
The best way to level up faster is by dungeon diving. The people of Tarro would only get EXP from the dungeons in Yaros and nothing else.
I need loot to support myself.
I don't have any weapons or armor to protect myself, which are very much important for one to have to survive in this harsh world. To be able to afford them I need loot. This was why I hunted outside rather than in dungeons, but now a new issue appeared.
To improve the skills I got from the hunt due to the blessing, would most likely improve through looting that skill again by hunting similar monsters.
Though it increased after only getting that skill again once, I have a feeling that the subsequent upgrades would demand more. It means I have to kill more monsters with similar skills.
If it was the same monster, then it may be way better as I would know their skills and can concentrate on improving the same skill rather than getting a bunch of weak-ass skills that could be easily countered or wouldn't protect me much.
The best way to spam kill a particular monster was through dungeons. The dungeons follow a specific monster or living condition.
Some dungeons would only spawn goblins, orcs, wolves or any of the monsters but only them.
Some dungeons like Lava Dungeon, where the monsters are Fire-based monsters, rather than being from a single race.
There are multi-layer dungeons where everything is mixed up but those are rare and are under the control of local kingdoms and empires. The ruling factions wouldn't allow just anyone to enter those dungeons, especially not someone from another world that they waged war against a few years ago.
Anyway, by spam killing the monsters that have the same skills, their ranks would increase quickly than they would outside but there is a downside.
Now there is one question that stands before me, whether to change my strategy or keep it as it is.
Even though the dungeons don't give out loot, the fights consume many arrows, swords, or weapons. So in a way, to hunt in a dungeon, I have to get a lot of coins and to do that, I need a lot of loot from monsters to sell.
It seems the only solution to this was to get the skills that don't require physical bows and a bow that can withstand the power of such skills.
Both would be costly, and I can't afford those with the meagre amount of coins that I possess. I hope at least I will get those skills when I rank. It's the only way I can keep the costs down.
Hope that happens and continue as I planned before.
