The two brothers stormed into the palace, looking formidable and bloodthirsty.
The guards trembled at their sight, wondering what had happened. Had the crown prince done a terrible thing? This brothers has never appeared together for a long time now, and whenever they did appear together with an unapproachable expression, the passerbys know what's best for them, if none of them want his or her head rolling on the floor. Even the animals scatter out of the way even whenever their expression looks approachable or not.
"General!" Two of the guards bowed to him, while the others ran inside to inform the king of the brothers presence.
"Where is she?" Devon questioned the two guards who exchanged glances. Was he talking about the strange woman escorted by David to meet the crown prince? Aye, strange meant she is his property.
Devan who had already walked into the palace, came out to meet his brother.
"She is with the crown prince." He reported. "And she is unhurt." He had to say that, to quench the burning flame.
The two guard quickly leaped out of their way. They stood by the side with their head bowed in respect and in fear. Sweats formed on their head with their hands tightly clenched to their pants. They stood like that till the General was out of sight.
.
"Now tell me, what your name is beautiful?" The demon prince questioned. I hesitated for a while, before answering.
"I am Leticia Simpson. An average graduate." I answered his question nervously.
"Such a nice name for a beautiful damsel like you. I heard from David that you must be someone very important to the General. That's the reason I brought you here, under my custody. Don't be scared, I won't hurt you dear. I am a nice person with a soft heaet. Just tell me, who are you to him?"
Now who is he talking about? What is he saying? Who is this person he is talking about? Who am I to whom? I was confused. I was just a normal student who suddenly got transported to a strange place. And I am very sure I this is the punishment for not listening to my father.
"I never knew you like poking your fingers into something that doesn't need your involvement, crown prince." I heard a familiar voice. That was Devon's voice, the arrogant prince.
"General Devon, you came."
I turned my head only to see him next to me. He moved another step, standing right in front of me. Should I feel safe or less safe? Cause this man in front of me is really funny when it comes to singing praised of himself. Wait, is he guarding me from getting beheaded like the other rude guy?
"Yes I came. Now step away from her."
"But I am only interrogating. There's no need to get mad about it."
"You are not a soldier, and also not the king, who gave you the right to do that?!" He snapped at him. Wow, such an authority. I was amazed.
"I am the crown prince." The so-called prince boasted.
"You are just a so-called prince. I will never bow to you or give you your respect or even call you my crown prince, even if you are crowned the king of the land. And I doubt that would ever happen."
"You..."
Devon turned to me and a smile appeared on my face. Maybe he was the man sent from heaven to guard me. Oh now, and I have so much insulted my guardian. Oh I am so sorry Mr. Guardian. "Let's go." He grabbed my hand, but taking a step, I heard several sounds of unsheathe swords. Oh mommy. I quickly hid behind Devon, looking at the faces of the muscular guards with swords in their hands, then peeped at the prince who was on his feet. That must be reason the soldiers had to stand up to fight.
"You can't just take her away from my sight like that. I want her with me as one of my concubines."
Wait, what now?! I looked at the damned prince again, feeling disgusted with him. If only I could hit him till he spits out blood.
"What do you mean?" Devon asked, grabbing my right hand tightly. This must mean I must be alert at all times.
"I want her as one of my many concubines. I like her, which is the reason I ordered her to me. You are no body to her. You are not her fiance, also not her husband. You have no right on her."
Eish! Such a damned prince.
"Even your father dare not stand in my front and blurt such dirt in front of me. The girl I have here is no small person you can talk to anyhow you wish to. You know I wouldn't need to blink twice before I kill this few rats you gave a title. So you better back off and shut your speaking hole." Wow, this guy really deserves a standing ovation. He is just so good with his words. I am sure this damned prince would be shaken by now.
Arrogant Devon is right, I can't just leave the drunkard Ken and go for a killer and a womanizing crown prince who has so many concubines and perhaps wife.
"No!" He thundered.
Okay, here we go again. "I just told you I want her to become one of my many concubines. People can call you a dragon who keeps his words, but I am a lion who attacks without mercy."
"And that same lion can get burnt by the many fires that filled the dragon. Here..." He raised up my right hand, showing them something. And suddenly they all gasped, putting down their swords one after the other.
What's that? I looked up to my hand and there; right in my fourth finger was a ring. A shinny red ring. Wait, how did that get there? He must've slipped it in my finger when I wasn't watching. What now his his plans?
"She is my fiancee, so back off Sergei."
Fiancee? When the heck did we plan to get engaged. What the heck is happening here? Should I follow up with him or run away, far away from this strange people?
I felt someone grabbing my arm from behind. Raising my head, I saw a tall man, about the hight of Devon, staring right at my face.
"Do not say anything or do anything stupid." He muttered. Wait, is Devon a twin? What a striking resemblance.
"I never saw a ring in her finger when I brought her here?" The so-called prince tried to defend himself.
"And now that you have seen the dragon eye, Sergei, you should know what to do. All because you had your father on the sick bed, you think you can just do anything you wish to do. Why? Because you are the crown prince." He let go of my hand immediately and I used the opportunity to admire the red ring in my finger. It's so pretty, but so sad it won't last long in my finger. I don't want to marry a rude guy. "Don't you think you deserve a punishment?" Devon questioned the rude prince and i gasped. Could he actually do that to him?
"Who do you think you are?" The prince yelled at the top of his voice. I saw his right hand trembling and his teeth gritted. He sure looks like a lion ready to pounce on his death.
"General Devon Ciel." Devon replied, looking quite formidable.
"And I am the crown prince." I could hear fury in his voice.
"Soon to be the king." Devon corrected him. "Your father, the king is the only one sho has the authority to command and make me do things. You are just a prince who wants the throne all to himself. And you know I can order your rats to assimilate you and make you regret coming to this first life."
Wow, so much words. Now the prince looked like fury himself. He held tightly to his royal chair as his brain looked like it would soon pop out of it's cage.

Devon thinks this man is supposed to be placed where he is supposed to be. The kingdom would always be in distress if he isn't taught a lesson he would never forget.
He had to slip the dragon ring into her finger because he knew any more words with this proud descendant of the Neo, he would do things which could make him kill and regret at the end of the day.
He realized the girl now conscious of that was happening around her. She must now understand that this isn't her dear world where there's milk and gem, this is a brutal world where bloods gets exchanged for money, and royals kills themselves for thrones. This is his world; His people; his kingdom.
