Chapter 7 - 007 sulking Leticia

I have been standing in front of the arrogant general for a while now, but it doesn't seem like he was going to lift up his face to look at me. Maybe his brother was wrong. This guy is way too arrogant to help. And what the heck had he been writing on that scroll for he to be very occupied and boring too.

"D..." I wanted to call his name, but was shut off by his sudden raise of finger.

He continued writing on the scroll and that lasted for almost twenty minutes before he could lift up his head to look at me.

"What do you want?" He questioned.

What an arrogant, perfect looking sculptured human being. I just hate the fact that he was actually my helper. If the perfect Lord could just change my guardian to his more approachable brother.

"So arrogant." I muttered, glaring at his annoying boring face.

"Excuse me?"

"Your brother told me you are the only one who could get me outta here. So I came to tell you, I have to go now."

"Um, you can pass the market to leave this world."

Just like that? Is he joking right now?

"The market?" I furrowed my brows, not believing him.

"Yes, the market. I can't take you to a death house."

"I feel like you are actually taking me to a death house." I said and he suddenly stood up on his feet.

He walked towards me with his hands behind his back. He is just too arrogant to be liked. I wonder who would like him in this place. So arrogant and annoying.

He moved closer to me slowly. Wait, does he actually think I would back off right now?

He was too slow and i needed sincere answers. I quickly moved towards him for he to tell me what I am supposed to know.

"You are a guy, you need to move faster. Now tell me whatever you wanna tell me Mr. "

He stared at me strangely. His brows got curved, with his hands still stuck on his back.

"Aren't you scared of me?" He questioned. A slight chuckle released from my lips. Does he actually want me to be scared of him? What is it to be scared of in him? He is a normal guy who has the authority to talk to a monarch of a Kingdom. I just wonder why people get scared of him.

"No I am not scared of you. Not even a little bit. Now tell me, I have to leave soon to get my luggages and find a job for myself."

He stared at me for a moment before finally speaking up.

"If you obey me and stay away from the royal family, I will find it out."

"Uh? What do you mean?"

"You are from the future and I am the past, I have to find out how you got here before I can decide to send you back."

"What?!" I felt tears coming again. "Does that mean I don't have any chance of going back home?"

"I will send you back home when I figure out how you came here. For now you will have to obey not to die in the past."

"And i will be history." I fell on my butt. Oh mummy, your daughter is in trouble; big trouble. "Ouuuuuuu!"

"Don't make that noise little girl."

"My name isn't girl. My name is Leticia and i am not little!" I yelled at him and he rolled his eyes at me. Oh I hate this arrogant prince charming.

**

"She had been here for so long." Devan reported to his brother, who was staring at Leticia who sat by the window with her arms around her body. She looked sad an very quiet at the moment.

"And she is quiet." Devon mumbled.

"Shouldn't you be relieved she is quiet. She had been crying and now she had decided to sit by the window and watch the stars."

"She finally accepted her fate." He turned to his brother who was still staring at Leticia. "Get her a clean dress for tonight and by tomorrow, you will have to get her a bag of new dresses, undergarments and shoes too."

"And why should I do that? You have maids, don't you?"

"Don't get me angry brother." Devon scowled at him.

.

Devan got into the market which was already getting more scanty for the night. He had his cloak on, so no one was able to recognize him as the General's brother. He walked towards the women's shop to get the dress his brother asked him to get.

"Good evening, young youth!" The woman in charge greeted.

"Dresses please."

"Please come with." She took him to the place where varieties of women grown are being stored. Beautiful and colourful for fair and young women.

"You want a dress for you wife or your sister, young man?"

Devan didn't answer her, but walked towards a particular dress. He felt the texture and smiled. He portrayed her figure in the cloth, then smirked.

'This would suit her best.'

"I want this."

"Oh my. The floral moon dress. What a nice taste you got there young man. I guess this goes to your partner tonight."

"No it is not." He replied.

The assistant helped arrange the dress into the box.

"I also want that type of dress Miss."

A lady's voice was heard behind Devan.

Devan didn't care, but the lady walked towards the type of dress Devan picked and smiled within herself.

She was also in a black clock, very similar to Devan's.

"This moon color stands for love, passion and peace." She was indirectly speaking to Devan. But he never cared if he was the one spoken to or not. She turned to look at him and smiled.

"Your friend must be lucky."

Um." He simply replied.

That modern girl is not his friend. Infact, he barely knows her. He only knows the color would suit her because of her complexion.

The lady in the cloak also picked a dress, and the assistant packed it up inside a box.

Getting it to the both of them, a buyer accidentally hits the assistant, making the boxes fall off her hand.

"Sorry." She quickly apologized before going to meet the lady of the shop.

The assistant quickly picked the boxes up and gave it to the owners. Devan first payed up before hurriedly getting out of the shop.

"Such an uncomfortable place." He muttered to himself, before hopping on his horse and riding away.

The lady in the cloak stepped out of the shop and smiled.

"Devan."
